As we booked and arrived to hotel it took them one hour to get the room ready even thought it was past the check in time.
Breakfast was KAOS queuing for coffee, for eggs … all empty .. disaster. You can tell is free…
After leaving the hotel I have asked for my bill with company details for 2 weeks now and the only answer I get is they are busy and i will get the bill. Nothing happens and then I ask on line for it and I get an attitude from the customer representative… very very disappointed and frustrating. Not again ever

Rooms aren’t well kept. Beds uncomfortable. Aircon doesn’t work and staff won’t believe you.

We attended Cheltenham for a nights stay, we arrived at the Hotel prior to check in as i have a phobia of lifts so had requested a ground floor or first floor room. We were advised all rooms were allocated and refused to move a few things around - Poor Service.
We finally checked in and got into the room. We went back to the bar prior to going out for our event. We tried to order drinks, took 20 minutes for me to get a member of staff to attend the bar. On arrival of the member of staff, they spoke very little English to which ordering a diet coke was impossible - we left and went elsewhere.
Being a Gold Member of IHG I requested a late check out on both rooms I had booked, this was confirmed by the receptionist on checking in that we could have late check out to 13:00 Hrs. On the Sunday one room was called by reception at 11:45 Hrs and advised they had to leave the room straight away and attend reception as the customer was lying about the late check out. This is extremely unprofessional, to which i would like to place an official complaint.

Bed was super comfy, room was OK, basic tea & coffee making, shower gel and shampoo delicious. Bring your own conditioner. TV basic no Netflix. Breakfast very poor with cheap ingredients. Granola, yoghurt and coffee machine were decent. Worst croissants ever - didn't finish it! Brewery quarter across the road with various eateries, a Lidl next door and a bar in reception. Perfect location, friendly staff, clean and would stay again (for one night)

Stayed here for 1 night with friends as we attended the races.
The staff were quite stressed and unwelcoming on check in.
We were woken at 2am by a group of loud drunken men and women who knocked doors and ran up and down the corridor until 4.30am.
When I complained to the manager she basically told me that I had booked during a festival weekend so should have expected some disruption!
The hotel itself is in a great location but due to our experience, has put me off returning. Breakfast was chaotic, no tables and most of the hot Buffett food warmers were empty and took ages to be refilled.
Room facilities were good but shower could’ve been more powerful

Nice hotel with friendly staff but need more at busy times and breakfast service can be massively improved. There needs to be a dedicated stand to giving room numbers and names in order to be able to enter the area as anyone could walk in and help themselves currently.
Chaotic to say the least when you have people hovering over your table when trying to enjoy your breakfast waiting to grab your table once you’re done

Poor advertising and disgusting cleanliness, rooms need a serious clean, broken window latches and light switches . Stains everywhere in the room on floor, walls seating and beds
Horrible bed but overall clean hotel and decent breakfast although very busy and chaotic.

We really enjoyed our stay . The staff were great and breakfast was excellent. I can’t understand why it is only rated as 3 star
