Fantastic Breakfast, but goes downhill from there.

So many issues. They permanently closed the lounge after I booked the hotel, so there was no access. The only compensation offered was one free item from the snack store, which I declined. Cleaning staff was very inconsistent, and we had to phone the front desk just to get towels on most days. They never changed the sheet during our 7 night stay. The bathroom sink barely drained, was not properly repaired after I complained to the front desk. We came down to dinner on evening to find out that they couldn't accommodate us. I ended up walking to the mall in freezing rain to get takeout. We just couldn't understand how so much can be wrong. The only positive was the Breakfast which was fantastic, but that is all.
BTW: This rating was increasing as I am typing "on its own" says Excellent, and I can't reduce it. This was NOT Excellent. I would give this hotel a 2 out of 5.

Really lovely short stay. Throughout the hotel the team were enthusiastic, warm and caring and super-friendly. Made it seem very much like a home from home and somewhere I would like to return. The night manager checked me in and was very good, at breakfast the chap running the service was such a delight and lifted everyone’s spirits and a worked super hard. The breakfast quality was very good indeed. The indoor forest was rather superb and made for a wonderful ambience. The room allocated was nice and big with a great view. Perhaps the only down on the whole stay was the whole drabness of the crowne plaza brand which is such a dull and boring aesthetic that takes away from what could be a fabulous more freer hotel. The sooner iHG kill off this brand the better and allow the hotels to breathe and deliver a soul, for that reason the rather corporate blah and meaningless statement of connects you to a destination is marked down.

back home yesterday night, I noticed an important error in my billing.
Wrote immediately to the hotel yesterday night and this morning still did not hear back from anyone niether get any contact / answer from the hotel!!
Huge deception on the staff service, pity as the hotel rooms & breakfast are good but do not give me the willing to go back again

As a platinum elite member, I was upgraded. The staff who checked us in was super nice and in general everyone is super friendly. The breakfast was really good - would recommend the hot smoked salmon dish! Would come back again and recommend.
Really convenient from both the city centre and the airport as well!

Hotel is very nice perfectly situated between next to the highway close to public transport and city centre.
To bad that the fitness is not from the hotel and only open between 10am and 6pm. So no time for an early or late workout.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and it is quite nice. It takes less than 10 minutes to get there from the airport, which makes it very convenient. But, it also takes about 20-25 minutes to take a taxi to the city, so it is not centrally located.
The rooms are modern and clean. Spacious enough to rest and get work done too.The bed was comfortable, so I could get a good sleep.
The bathroom is modern and clean, too.
The lounge is self-service with only beer and wine available (no spirits) and very limited food options.
There is a nice restaurant next door called the Bark that has good beers and food.
The gym is across the atrium now, and is a proper gym. All the equipment you need to get a good workout. Happy to see that!
There is also a large shopping mall that is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, that is also really convenient as well (with tons of restaurant options).
