Two-night stay between Israel and Houston

Excellent value. A few minutes walk from Earls Court tube station [convenient with lifts for those arriving the Piccadilly line from LHR] and very nice pub [The Blackbird, good food menu] a few steps away on the corner. Also, good bus [C1] connection heading toward Knightsbridge and city center and returning to Earls Court road [#74]. Hotel room on the smallish side, but typical for older buildings converted to hotel service. Not a problem for short stays. Bathroom more like a 3-star, but still serviceable if not luxurious. Staff was always very helpful. We also had a room just a couple of steps from the lift. I've read some low-rated reviews that mentioned bad room location and a very small lift. The lift was large enough for my wife and myself and two full-size bags as well as our carryons. I have no idea why anyone would complain about the lift size in the UK or anywhere else in Europe. Perhaps we were just lucky, but our experience was 180 degrees from the 1-star and 2-star reviews that some visitors have posted. Most definitely would stay again on future visits to London.

Terrible Shower

As a loyal customer of Hotel Indigo, and someone who has stayed at this property a few times, I was so disappointed in this experience. I really like this hotel and the Hotel Indigo concept, but the experience with our shower really makes me think I need a change the next time I visit London. The shower head was so clogged up that only about half of the nozzles were functional. It must have been like this for a long time, because the solder was broken where the head attached to the pipe, and water was running out from there, making the pressure in the shower head very low. We complained three times, and explained that the head needed to be replaced. They kept saying that they had sent someone up to fix it, but it was never “fixed,” because the only way to solve the problem would have been to replace the shower head, as we had already explained to them. We finally just gave up and decided to just live with it for our stay. When we checked out and were asked how our stay was, we told them about the shower experience. She apologized, but didn’t offer any kind of discounted rate or any kind of compensation for our inconvenience. It was so disappointing. We go to London every year, and will probably consider another hotel next time.

The worst ihg hotel

I wouldn't recommend a hotel where the bed are noisy and old, pillows are old and uncomfortable, cleaning of the room was poor and lack of cleaning kits
Once you go to the prepaid breakfast, you will find a poor buffet, where they don't manage to refill anything, you might go at9:00 am and find no croissant, Nd if you find it , it would be a poor quality product, and if you wanna jave some eggs, it will be extra.
And if you pass all that, try to find a clean table.

Nice funky hotel - with bad access

The hotel was fine and the room nice and cosy - appreciated the upgrade.
But the steps leading to the front door made it a nightmare lugging suitcases up and down them.
NO-ONE EVEN OFFERED TO HELP.

Only stay here if you have a backpack, hand luggage only or are Hercules' brother!

A great Hotel in Kensington

Hotel was great, all of the staff are extremely helpful, know exactly what they are doing, and are always happy to help. Receptionist (and in particular Yousra) are outstanding and always happy and keen to assist. I had no problems getting advice, printing, taxis to the door, everything was easy and quick. Highly recommended and staff should know they are very much appreciated, they are a credit to the organisation.

Excellent location for shopping in Kensington and the Design Museum. Literally 2 minutes walk from Earls Court Tube Station.

Cleanliness to be improved for check in

Toilet was not cleaned for our arrival raised the issue with the duty manager and informed us he didn't have any cleaners on site and he would have to clean it himself.
Heating system to both our rooms was not working satisfactory which we had to accept as no other rooms were available for us to be relocated.

Greated very well. Rooms disappointing raised with the staff so no need to go into detail. Issues addressed quickly.
Needs a bit more TLC bit run down. Not worth the money paid. Would not return.
