We have stayed several times at this hotel as an overnight stop in the middle of a trip to see family. It has always shown a bit of wear, but our last two stays, about a week apart, were enough to convince us to find a different hotel for future trips. The pool and spa were out of service (though the pool was full of sparkling, clear water) during both stays. The linens were frayed and gray. During our first stay we found beer cans and bottles in the room, and both times the bath and coffee bar counter surfaces had some sticky/gritty substance on them that required scrubbing to remove. The carpets in the elevator lobbies are coming apart and taped (sort of) together. And the breakfasts were bad even by Holiday Inn Express standards.
Every staff member we met, with the exception of some of the desk clerks, were very nice.

I have to say this hotel by far has been one of the best in the chain that I and my family have stayed at!! Highly recommend! Clean, quiet and the best breakfast spread I’ve encountered to date! Thank you staff!!

My last reservation we had three rooms, two of which were cleaner but one room was not cleaned. The beds were unmade with pizza boxes in the trash. The front desk receptionist was not very friendly when having to help get a new room because of the condition of one.
TV lacks channel guide

Great property but lack of TV channel guide is a problem. Frustrating not being able to know what is available on each channel. Most motels have a channel guide. So if you want to enjoy your time at this place be prepared to be frustrated with what is available on the cable channels.

I love staying here! The bed is so comfortable and I was able to sleep very well. The pillows were awesome, sometimes they aren’t but this time they got it right! It was clean and the staff were nice, even though she said she doesn’t normally work at this location.

After drive over 11 hours, tired, I plugged closest ihg hotel and when I got to the hotel, I walked in and asked the guy (Anthony -is what I was told by the oncoming staff lady) if he had any rooms available. He told me "NO" - he had some "team in the hotel and was still awaiting more guests to arrive." Me being the guy who travel A-Lot... As have spoken with hotel staff before that say they leave some rooms open in case of walk-ins. I decided to sit right out front of the door and got on my phone, internet. Logged into my IHG account to see if there were any other locations. Then it kept pulling up South location. I decided to book there and what do you know!... Rooms were available. not just 1 but several. I feel as I was discriminated against! Would I stay there again- Absolutely not. I don't usually suggest, but that guy needs to be fired! ! !

If you have a shower in a room designed for someone in a wheelchair, having the the hand wand 7 ft in the air is too high to reach. Once brought down its unusable because there is not enough water flow to function at all. Needs attention.

Usually pleased with Holiday Inn Express, but was very disappointed in Lubbock. Lots of unmanaged wear and tear throughout the property. Pool was stagnant and dirty. Fitness room equipment was in terrible shape. Exercise bench was broken and a safety hazard. One of the treadmills was also hazardous with a loose slipping tread. I spoke to the front desk about the hazards and recommended he take those items out of service. Still there the next day. There was also no water, cups or towels available. Our room was not very clean and was well worn like the rest of this neglected property.
The beds are what they are. The room was clean and comfortable. They need to make sure too get all the floor tiles sealed to the floor, make sure the

Need to have the cleaning service check that they have cleaned everything, that all the trash is taken out of the rooms. The cleaning person left our trash in the bathroom in our sink,left one of our dirty rags behind. Everything else was great.

We chose this location for the indoor pool which would allow our kids an opportunity to play after a long day cooped up in the car. Unfortunately, the pool was closed. We didn’t find out until the kids were headed to the pool in their bathing suites. I feel like this should have been disclosed at check-in and we should have had an opportunity to cancel our reservation. Our room was next to the elevators which made for a poor nights sleep for the 4 of us. The bathtub was dirty and the water pressure was terrible. Otherwise, the place is pretty nice. Breakfast is solid. Improve upkeep and communication would make this hotel a good value. As it is now, I cannot recommend.

Podczas zameldowania pracownik hotelu nie podziękował nam za członkostwo. Był bardzo zdystansowany i niezbyt przyjazny. Zazwyczaj otrzymujemy kupon na przekąski lub przynajmniej wodę. Kiedy zapytałem o to pod koniec odprawy, powiedziano nam: „Ponieważ wykorzystałeś swoje punkty, nic nie otrzymasz”. Przy wymeldowaniu nie powitano nas, po prostu zabraliśmy klucze do pokój i umieściliśmy je w skrytce ekspresowej. Nie, dziękuję za pobyt w hotelu!

Wszystko było super! Ten hotel był niesamowity. Pod każdym względem wszystkie udogodnienia są ładne i czyste, atmosfera w hotelu była idealna, a personel uprzejmy i uprzejmy. Pod każdym względem śniadanie było gorące i przygotowane. dobrze, gorąco polecam ten hotel każdemu. Od 20 (0) lat podróżuję do hoteli w całym kraju i za tę cenę nie można pobić tego hotelu. Ma świetną lokalizację i wszyscy byliby naprawdę zadowoleni z pobyt tutaj. Gorąco go polecam.
