Great location for convention center. Close to walking paths around lake. Basic hotel down to food offerings for breakfast. The coffee was the best as it was fresh ground each cup.

My husband and I came in to celebrate a colleague’s wedding. We arrived early from out of state and loved that we could get into our room early to get dressed.
The hotel was nice, great location to our events but very expensive for one night. We liked to coffee but didn’t quite feel like the pricing we paid

I've stayed at the avid a number of times and each stay was good enough for me to book again. The bed is comfortable but the pillows leave a bit to be desired: 1 of either type doesn't provide enough support but 2 is too much. The shower is roomy and the showerhead has a couple different setting. Breakfast options are OK, so long as you don't want anything hot other than a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich or a prefabricated veggie omelet. (Those were the only options all 3 days of this stay. Some variety would be nice.) Freshly brewed regular or decaf coffee is good and the hotel provides a good variety of creamers and sweeteners to add. Cold options aren't bad, and a couple kinds of fruit are always included. Rooms aren't soundproof, but only once or twice did I hear enough noise from inside, the parking lot, or the highway to notice. Staff is generally quick to respond to requests from the room, be it bathroom supplies or personal care items, and they're pleasant to deal with although it's hard to find someone at the front desk occasionally. While I was recognized as an IHG Rewards Club member, I wasn't offered the usual water bottle or whatever else it is they're supposed to make available.

All hotel aspects were great. I really enjoyed that there was a nice restaurant with great atmosphere right next to the hotel that allowed us to walk to dinner and enjoy the area. Comfortable bed and clean room/bathroom.

Hotel was nice and modern. It was very clean from the lobby to my room. Staff was nice and even made some food recommendations across the street in walking distance. The front desk even asked what time in the morning did I prefer to have my room cleaned. I did not get the chance to enjoy breakfast but I did see jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches and premade omelets. First trip to Wisconsin and enjoyed my stay. I guess price was reasonable for a game day weekend but I think it could have been better. Overall 9/10!!!

It’s a fine no-frills hotel if you just need a place to sleep. It was a bit pricey considering there’s no pool and the breakfast leaves much to be desired. Rooms are small with no microwave or coffee machine but coffee is available in the lobby 24 hours. Room was clean, shower was nice. No major complaints.
Grab to go breakfast is quite convenient

Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Environment is also in quiet zone. Breakfast is convenient and good quality. Coffee is above my expectation. The restaurant had microwave instead in guest room, that’s a good alternation to prevent bad odder in room.

The receptionist was rude to us and was not helpful during the stay from check in. If it wasn’t for this person I would have made higher marks for the hotel because I don’t believe the hotel to be bad just them.
