My overall stay was not pleasant. We couldn’t control the room temperature or the shower temperature and the staff didn’t seem to care. They’ve experienced the same issues themselves but the problem hasn’t been resolved.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and beautiful and it was very quiet despite being in a busy neighborhood.
Christmas Day stay - Not enough towels for everyone

When you make a reservation for four people to stay at this hotel, you should not have to repeatedly ask for enough towels for the guests. Yet that was the case twice! Moreover, you should not expect any push back from the front desk staff. Recognizing that it was the Christmas holiday and the housekeeping staff was not working, the front desk staff told us that someone would bring us enough towels the next morning. But we had to call them again. When we had the room refreshed the following day 12/27, housekeeping only left us with two sets of towels for the four of us!

Location was convenient, large rooms, and a great value. Beds were too hard and there is no convenient parking. Had to use valet at $32 a night. Onsite restraunt had good food but the prices were high and service was slow

I didn’t have a great experience here from the moment I walked in. The staff was not friendly and greeting. No one was at the front desk when I arrived. The guy was in the seats next to the desk, mingling and talking to someone. I walked aimlessly around trying to find where to check in, even someone to help me. Nothing. I finally made my way back to the front and realized I should just stand here and wait. A guy came over hesitantly and asked if he can help me. Well yes. I would like to check in. He finally checked me in. The dining area were the cashier and chef. They were both sitting on the bar seats so I had no clue they were employees. The sign said to wait to be seated, so I did. They turned around to look at me. I said “do you work here” they replied yes and finally helped me. Had someone been present and the front desk and a worker behind the bar instead of sitting outside of the bar, my experience would’ve been 10x better.

We were a little hesitant to stay here based on some of the reviews we read but our room and bathroom were very clean. There was an old chair in the room that was dirty so we didn't want to sit in that which only left two of us to share one rolling desk chair the entire time. So the room is definitely in need of more seating options but other than that, it was great. The hotel restaurant was excellent, especially the wings and the Wallace breakfast, and the cookies put out in the lobby were a nice touch as well. The valet is pricey considering the cars are literally parked across the street where guests could easily do it themselves. But check in and check out was pleasant and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful so other than those few minor things, it was an excellent stay.

Great hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. Great bar and restaurant, huge rooms, on site guest laundry, drink and dinner specials.

Friendly staff, convenient location. That’s the best I can say about this hotel. I’ve stayed here multiple times but doubt I’ll be back.
I was charged significantly more than the confirmation email and the condition of the suite was poor.

The staff and overall atmosphere of this spot is EXCELLENT. Everyone is incredibly friendly and kind and made my significant other and I feel so welcomed. The rooms were very roomy (probably could use some extra furniture) but honestly the bed/pillows were some of the comfiest I've had at hotel in recent memory. Bathroom was clean and had great lighting. Really enjoyed the time we spent here!

Hotel issued a second set of cards to another guest who then unknowingly walked into on me as I was getting ready to leave for the night. Apparently the person I checked in with never actually checked me in so it looked like my room was available and they issued cards to my room to another set of guests. Very unsettling. Never felt so vulnerable sleeping in a hotel! We stay here frequently because it is close to my daughter but it is not great. We always find something broken in the room. A table leg, a towel rack pulled from the walk, non working thermostat etc.
