Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast attendants each day were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was quiet so we could get to sleep easily at night. The shower could use some more power. Need more plugs in the room as well.

My husband and I stay at this hotel every time we go to see our daughter and her family that live in Bethel Park and have also used it for my daughter's wedding party and guest stay. The staff is amazing, super friendly and very accommodating. The hotel location is in a great part of the city and is easily accessible to restaurants and shopping if needed. Also, over the years they have modernized it and made some great upgrades that make it not only a great place to stay, but also very easy to work from the room if needed. So I highly recommend this location not only for an overnight stay but also if you are away on business and need to work hassle free.

Woke to Jack hammer outside our room. Then no water till after 3 pm. No communication or compensation from hotel staff.

Hotel checks ALL our boxes when visiting Pittsburgh. Very friendly staff, convenient location, restaurant prices are reasonable and food satisfactory, and rooms have been very comfortable and quiet.

Hotel is quite dated. Bed was too soft. Furniture in our room was worn and there was plaster falling from spots on the ceiling,

We had recently planned a surprise 50th wedding Anniversary at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Pittsburgh-South.
First let me thank the following for their great work and commitment to make everything perfect.
1. Ellen, what a great job explaining everything and making everything easy. She had great ideas to make this function even nicer.
2. Scott, did everything as far as setting up all of the dinner tables and they looked fantastic, excellent presentation. He scored a perfect 10.
3. The chef, what a great presentation for the buffet tables. The food was excellent.
If anyone is looking to do a special function you need to check the Crowne Plaza South out. It is perfectly located south of Pittsburgh.
The front desk staff is excellent and are willing to help however they can.
Perfect Suite Room

This is the 4th time I’ve stayed in the Suite rooms here. The hot tub and fireplace are amazing and romantic. I would recommend this if you are looking for affordable yet romantic. Lots of place around to order food and lots of places to go if you don’t want to stay in. We will be booking again for my birthday in March. We will probably do a stay every couple months just to get away. I highly recommend these suite rooms.
