This hotel I believe is overrated. My room was not that clean (but not filthy), but was spacious enough and the bed was comfortable. I did not have a view (except of the putt putt golf below), I’ve stayed here over the years and I think you could find better value - as an IHG gold member, there was no benefit that I could tell, other than them mentioning it at checkin

We spent 5 nights and really enjoyed the experience. It's definitely the place to stay in Terrigal. All staff friendly; room very clean, serviced each day which was lovely. Buffet very busy around 9am but we always waited until about 10am. Sometimes this means that dishes aren't replaced as quickly as turnover slower and they let them run down. Plenty of choice. The omelets are a great choice as they are cooked fresh and hot. My family all enjoyed what they ate for breakfast. Coffee was lovely my husband reported. Really enjoyed the musician downstairs at Aroma's which is right outside the front door. Great access to the beach just across the road. The only down side to our stay was that it rained for 3.5 of our 5 days....but we made the most of it. Highly recommend and would stay again.

My family and I spent a week at the Crowne Plaza and it’s the 3rd time we've stayed here during our visit to Terrigal. We had the most amazing time enjoying the food, the room service, the amazing view from our terrace balcony and the wonderful hotel staff (Vanessa, you are wonderful🙏🏽) who helped make our stay unforgettable. My family and are woke up every morning to the beautiful sounds of the waves from Terrigal Beach and although it rained for some of the time we were there we didn’t let it stop us from enjoying the suite we were staying in, the sublime view of Terrigal Beach even in a rainy day, and enjoying the great food from the hotel room service followed by the Crowne Hotel breakfast buffet. I do love an Eggs Benedict any time of the day 🥰 Thank you to Vanessa who went above and beyond to help my family and I, thank you to the amazing hotel staff at the reception, the concierge staff and the staff in housekeeping.You were all FANTASTIC!! We will definitely be heading back to the Crowne very soon and will definitely recommend to all and everyone!!

Check in time at 3 pm room was not ready till 3.45 i came early hoping for early check in staff were not helpful, one of them thought free breakfast should make things better, but with 2 kids waiting for hours in lobby was not great

Overall we enjoyed our stay. However , understanding that the hotel was very busy but one day housekeeping didn’t service our room until 5:30pm. Not ideal
when you have young children and you have been out all day.

Some aspects were great e.g service at Mirabella restaurant, on the pool deck. However, check-in experience left a lot to be desired. Over 90 minutes after the scheduled time for check-in could we get into our rooms. Need to provide an estimated time of the delay upon arrival, even if priority is given to visiting football teams. Breakfast service was also not great, left with long wait times to order coffees, sometimes just having to chase staff down to order one. Ordered food at breakfast at times was also not hot, also needs improvements

Our stay at Terrigal Crowne Plaza Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Besides the superb location and excellent service, we enjoyed the facilities, such as the hot-water jacuzzi and swimming pool.
Recommend it for a family with kids of all ages.

The hotel is well-located. The reception staff are great. Good check in and check out experience.The room is problematic. The headboard/walls vibrated all night due to the aircon outside unit near the room. The room vibrated even when the room's aircon was turned off. The sheets were extremely hard and over-crispy and uncomfortable. The TV is not a smart TV and one needs a PhD to work out how to use. The rooms are dated and need a total makeover. Old and tatty curtaining, shower didn't work properly - issues with taps. The room was that of a 2-star hotel, definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised. Totally over-priced for what was provided.
The overall maintenance of the hotel is seriously lacking: i.e. lift outside buttons not working on a few floors, all table tennis bats were seriously damaged or broken, gym was tatty and unwelcoming, Hotel parking for guests is charged at $35 per day. Parking for guests should be free. Breakfast: adequate but not great. No butter available only margarine or butter spread which is not butter. Bottled water on provided in room on first night, none on the second night. Overall a less than adequte hotel experience

Very happy with our 2 day stay, checkin was easy and room was ready early - nice bonus.
Service at breakfast was impressive - shown to a table by window with ocean/beach view - liked that. Food was good and plentiful.
Late checkout was greatly appreciated.
Have been coming to Crowne Plaza for over 40 years and it never disappoints. Room 346 was in a fabulous spot facing the beach and away from hotel night noise - will request that room on our next stay.
