While the hotel is clean and staff is competent, the hotel is very dated. The shower was cold and did not warm up. The sink leaked. The breakfast was passable. There is a Stipes close by that serves breakfast tacos. Rates were raised significantly although this location is further out from the Texas Tech campus.

The coffee pots in the rooms were great. You could have a cup anytime you wanted to.. Lighting is imporant in the rooms. To have plenty of light to work on paperwork.

I have stayed at this hotel for years becuase it is right down the road from an event venue and the only one close. The price of this hotel continues to increase and the quality continues to decrease.
When we arrived the first room we were given smelled horrible. We went back to the front desk and requested another.
Second room had no remote, went to get remote from front desk and it still would not work. TV would come on but no sound and could not change chanels. Front desk again moved us rooms.
Third and final room the door left a good 1/8 inch gap and you could look into the room. We gave up at this point.
There were zero ammenities and the towels were horrible. If there were any close hotels I would not ever stay here again.
Moldy bathroom.

Lots of mold in the bathroom. Corner of shower curtain torn from ring. Old towels. Empty can of vodka drink left behind the curtain. Curtain hanging broken. Backs of curtains covered in cobwebs and dust. Ice machine not working. Hotel continues to go downhill. We only stayed here because other hotels were full.
No greeting board or member bags

Being an IHG platinum card holder I must say I look forward to the welcome bags and greeting boards that most hotels have…. This one was disappointing unfortunately, they didn’t have anything at all. Had to change rooms because the drapes were torn, shudder curtains not closing but customer service handled it without hassle.

In town for a track meet. 1st room had no A/C. 2nd room smelled of sewage and the toilet only worked occasionally. The curtains were torn and if we closed the privacy curtains, they would cover the A/C. In general the room was just gross.
Shame on the owners for letting it get that bad and shame on IHG for not holding thier member hotels to a livable standard
I do not recommend and would not stay here again.

Overall great experience, cleanliness and relaxed environment was great! Great spot restaurants close to you! Right off the loop! Not too far from town! Swimming pool was nice girls swam for a while!

Our stay was excellent. The motel and room were clean and quiet. The breakfast was one of the best and well attended to. Overall, staff were attentive and our stay was a good experience. Our check in was prompt and polite in the evening and all amenities were pointed out. We would gladly stay at this property again.

Travelled for work. Worked a night shift and came back to the hotel in the morning. The breakfast lady kept following me around like she needed to see what I was doing with the food and it was just weird. The front desk lady - just so rude and sassy.
Beds were rough, sheets and window shades torn, and AC cover falling apart

Trip was leisure, room was ok, average to below average for the area, the hotel seemed dated and dingy, pool was not useable and the workout equipment was extremely old, did not work. The exterior of the hotel was extremely inviting but exterior was dark and looked up kept.
