Excellent stay in great location

I chose to stay here because the location is excellent and I love IHG brand hotels and resorts. All the staff were amazing and very helpful. The hotel is located in a mall and has several restaurants and nearby hamburger restaurants and coffee shops. It is a short walk to Shibuya Scramble and they have rooms that have a view of Shibuya crossing. Overall I loved my stay here. I hope to stay again in the future.

I tried to check-in at 11am and was told my 2 rooms weren't ready and to come back after 3pm. The male staff was dismissive and would not complete my paperwork - he refused to issue luggage holding tags and continued to ignore me until I lost my patience and insisted on being provided with the luggage hold tags.
I had to return after 3pm to start the process from the beginning. The attitude and behaviour of the check-in staff was rude and dismissive. When I came back to check-in after 3pm, the check-in process was poor and took a long time (done by the same staff in the morning). My fellow travel friends also commented on how long the check-in took. I have never had such poor service from any IHG hotel staff.
There was no recognition for IHG Rewards Club member whatsoever.

Very positive stay. Fantastic location. Very small room (especially with four piece of luggage) but toilet and shower were outstanding (except a bit of a challenge because the door opened in). Television channel selection completely inadequate for non-Japanese speakers (only cnn and bbc).

Hotel Índigo is a wonderful hotel with some of the friendliest most helpful staff I have ever experienced. The breakfast was delicious every single morning and the dinner was spectacular. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious with views of the Shibuya skyline. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Loved this Hotel! Fits our Shibuya stay so well. Easy transitions from street to hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet, Chef Davide was so friendly and accommodating. Female front desk staff approachable and helpful especially BINU. Rooms are spacious and bathroom is great. Shower floor not slippery and even has a stool. Room view is great. Elevators so efficient! Only - would be the gym- needs more machines. But I guess who has time for gym when you’re in the heart of tokyo.

Located close to the heart of Shibuya and a short walk away from Shibuya crossing, this is one of the best IHG hotels in Tokyo. The room furnishings are state of the art, and the hotel gives off a very trendy vibe.
Staff tries their best to make guests comfortable.
Prices are on the high side, but would definitely stay again.

Last March 2024, we stayed at Hotel Indigo Shibuya. Everything was wonderful. Staffs were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Already included in the buffet breakfast were menu items you can order. My two kids (5 and 7 years old) were already included in the buffet breakfast rate. Fast forward to december 2024 , which is our recent visit. The hotel felt different. Staffs were unaccommodating and quite rude. Kids were asked to pay 50% of the breakfast rate and were no longer included wiith the room rate, And the menu items were no lionger included with the buffet breakfast rate. So disappointing. We specifically booked this hotel again for this recent trip since we had a wonderful experience last March 2024. I do not think we will be choosing this hotel again. Their policies keep on changing and it is quite exhausting to keep up,

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Indigo Shibuya. From the Front Desk check in with Dan who was extremely helpful and cheerful to Andre at the Breakfast Room always attentive with a smile and enthusiasm to serve, represented the modern coziness spirit of Indigo Hotels. I would definitely stay here during my next trip to Tokyo.

Awful experience at check-in, terrible slow, attention and service by staff deficient. I noticed staff did not were fluent in English, makes everything a little more complicated for everyone. Would not recommend or repeat at this hotel

My favorite hotel in the midst of everything in Tokyo!
Indigo Hotel is the most beautiful modern quality hotel with the most hospitable, nice and courteous customer support people. I have been staying at this hotel 3 years in a row, around Christmas, since I discovered this gem of a hotel, where the staff make me comfortable and happy! All kinds of great restaurants, shops are right outside this hotel as well as underneath the hotel
Kudos to Indigo for being the cleanest and refreshing !

Cute and comfortable rooms, great views across Shibuya and Tokyo, super clean, friendly staff, awesome location. A 30 second walk from the scramble crossing and heaps of great eateries and shops right outside the door.
