This is a nice hotel with very contemporary furniture throughout the lobby and guest rooms. However, please notice this facility is pet friendly. I was not aware of this and would have preferred to find a hotel that was more accommodating to customers who were not traveling with their furry companions. Unfortunately, this type of amenity seems to be the norm in this state as I had some other difficulties finding accommodations more to my liking in other cities within the state of Minnesota. The FREE breakfast was good but could have provided a refrigerated space for the yogurt that would maintain a colder temperature for this item. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for one night for business and it was a great place to stay. Loved that instead of carpet floors were vinyl, but they also had some cushion. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will stay again when in the area.

Do not stay here. This is the worst hotel ever. This is not a Holiday Inn type of stay. We were scheduled to stay two nights, after one we checked out and found another location. This was the biggest mistake ever!!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Overall the hotel is well maintained.
Breakfast is HORRIBLE, dried out and stale bagels and muffins. Prepackaged egg sandwiches are terrible.
No microwave in the room, only in the lobby.
Not a shining star anymore.

I have stayed at this hotel several times since it was built. It was great when it first opened and the property is really not that old but it is already looking rough. The carpets are work and it looks worn. Several nights I arrived to find utility or straight trucks taking up multiple parking spots to the point there way no where for me to park! I had to drive around and wait for someone to leave. I am sure when they came back, they had the save challenge with no where to park. This property sits right on the Interstate(literally).

While the hotel is still new enough that there's no real building needs, the Air conditioning in my room was noisy when turning on and off, didn't maintain temperature from day to day, and the breakfast was the same every day and well overcooked. The cutlery provided ran out multiple days and was generally not cared for - all tables dirty, food picked through and not restocked, etc. I travel with IHG hotels 4 days of every week and expect better from Avid.

We were very happy with our stay at this Avid location! The rooms are small; however, the room rate reflected this. Excellent value, considering the upkeep of the hotel, the cleanliness of our room, and the great grab-and-go breakfast. The man that checked us in was extremely friendly & seemed very helpful. The lighting in the bathroom was great, the beds were comfortable, & the availability of great coffee in the lobby at all times was appreciated! Would stay again if/when in the area and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quick overnight stay. Although there was no pool, the exercise room looked great!!
Very disappointed.

I checked in and the first thing I notice was how dirty the hotel was. Then I asked not to be a the highway side, but again was given a room on that side and when I walked into the room, it smelled like smoke. Went back downstairs and given a room on the first floor.
1:30 am, you could here everyone in the front lobby talking and making so much noise. I came out to ask everyone to lower their voices, where was management? Breakfast, the coffee machines kept breaking, no coffee in the am. This was my second stay here, very disappointing. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Management should do something when people are stomping around above you at midnight. Not let kids play soccer in the hallway at midnight. I complained multiple times on multiple nights and they did nothing.
No coffee makers in the room. And some variety each day at breakfast. 5 days of the same is absurd.

I arrived pretty late on July.4th, it was an amazing experience, counter acknowledged my status and gave me amenities. Room was nice and checkout was super smooth using the TV in room.
Horrible IHG property!

This place was a Joke! I had to ask to have my room cleaned four times and not one time did they clean it. The rooms are small and not very nice.

The room did not smell well and it seems it was due to the old AC. Also the AC was very loud all night long. The bed was not comfortable like other AVID hotels I’ve stayed at. When checking the bed we did find there was a large yellow stain in the mattress cover which was unpleasant, but due to timing and our plans we did not report to front desk as it would take too long (We had previously asked for extra towels to be brought up that never came-we had to ask for them that night when we got back) I also found that one of the bath towels that was already in the room had about 10 curly black hairs stuck throughout the towel. Would not return to this location again.
