The staff were very friendly and attentive. Front desk staff helped make check in very smooth and the restaurant staff made breakfast very enjoyable.

loved this hotel! Great way to begin my trip to Mexico! The staff helped me w the language barrier & offered suggestions for things to see & do! Super fun experience!! Very comfortable & relaxing stay!
Exploring Guanajuato

The city is best seen on foot. have a good pair of walking shoes and comfortable clothes. This hotel is located on Pardo Street and you can easily walk to Mercado Hidalgo then from there to the Callejon del Beso and finally to Teatro Juarez. Do your research before booking. We didn't mind walking so it was a nice stroll to get to places for us. It's a good 10-12 min walk from the hotel to Teatro Juarez but its a straight walk up Avenida Benito Juarez. The Hotel looked newly renovated. It has WiFi, newer TVs, comfy beds and its super clean and when we were there, it was guarded and quiet! The employees are very nice and they can help you coordinate tours, transportation and recommendations on where to go explore. The hotel has onsite parking!! That was my main reason why I chose the hotel. I had family visit me and I wanted them to have a place to park. We had a great experience, I would definitely re-book when I go back.

To experience the city, it is best to walk so I chose this hotel because its within walking distance to the market, the museum and the main plaza. We parked the car, checked in and walked everywhere the entire time we were there.
The only one but silly miss I think was weird is that façade to the hotel is currently maroon/red so I was really confused as to why the hotel would be called Indigo. The upside, this hotel is VERY nice and CLEAN. We are breakfast there and it was good. Complimentary toast and in-house made jellies were provided with our breakfast. The bar was open late and it was a nice way to get together and chill before going to sleep.

Not what we expected in on our first trip to Guanajuato. The morning staff was not very welcoming and provided very little info on arrival. She was more interested in going back to scrolling through her instagram than to provide information on where we could stay since we had a 5am arrival and check in was later in the afternoon. She couldn’t even put her phone away to check if any rooms were available even after telling her we could pay an extra night.
Not the best experience. Hotel has modern decor. Room floor was not very clean so try not to wear white socks. Overall a 3/10 for us.

Hotel Índigo is wonderful! A well located and beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff. On site parking and good restaurants as well. A great place to stay. I recommend highly!

This hotel is beautiful and inviting. They staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurants and service were excellent. Hotel Indigo is well located making easy access to museums, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Hotel was new and close to the downtown area. There are also food options available nearby. Customer service was also great during the whole stay. There is a nice restaurant and a bar at the hotel. The rooms didn't have a refrigerator.

Very nicely furnished hotel, very friendly reception
Miserable breakfast, no choice, poor service (breakfast only), no fitness
Despite booking via ihg.com, I have not received any points or status night ("Non-Qualifying Stay"?)
