The room was comfortable and clean. Easy to check in and out. Was not happy that I could not get and answer on how much I was actually paying

I wish that I was given a better answer on how I paid more for the room at hotel. My emails from IHG stated a less amount for room per night and then I was charged more at hotel. No one at hotel or on the phone with IHG could give me an answer

I really enjoyed my quick stay at Hotel Indigo. I always appreciate the spacious room design and the ease of check-in. The breakfast was very good with enough options. Also, Tyler made sure that everything with our stay was satisfactory and provided wonderful service. I will definitely consider staying at Hotel Indigo again if I'm in the area.

We will be back. Great rooms, great location. Mellody farms area with many restaurants (dinner, breakfast) and shopping is within walking distance, google shows 20 minute walk, we did it in around 15.

We have probably stayed at all the hotels in the area. This is the nicest, reasonably priced hotel of them all. It is quite popular, so book early. Very clean, comfortable and convenient.

I can always count on this hotel to have a room for me in a short notice. The associates hold themselves to high standards. The rooms are clean and always accommodate my two dogs. I’ve never had an issue staying here, highly recommended.

The hotel seemed old with an attempt at renovation. While visually the hotel looks nice online its not great. Id recommend to look elsewhere.

We were only staying overnight because of the air and water show in downtown Chicago. When we arrived at the hotel the staff immediately recognized my reward member status which is appreciated. The hotel staff was great the entire time we needed anything or asked questions. The hotel is easy to find and in a great location for shipping and dining. Here is why I didn't give it five stars.
The sofabed didn't have any sheets blankets or pillows in the closet so we had to go down and ask for them, I booked 5 people in the room and we had to go ask for extra face towels and towels for everyone they only had the standard when we arrived. The room was a great size but there is a lot of wasted space. The living area is huge but the sleeping area was kind of small. They could easily use some of that space and place queen beds instead of full size.

The closet is small as it is but even smaller space because it holds the mini fridge. The hotel doesn't provide free breakfast so you can buy from downstairs, which is fine but what is the purpose of a minifridge if there is no microwave in the room. The hotel does provide a microwave but it's all the way on the first floor in a little cove. If multiple guests were staying and wanted to use the microwave it would certainly be a wait because its a small microwave and they only have one for the entire hotel. We had to eat breakfast on the run because we couldn't warm up our breakfast in our room while everyone got ready we had to do it all at once on our way out. I would suggest utilizing some of that space and move the mini fridge out of the closet and add a microwave to each room to make it convenient for the guests. Also the ice machines are only on 3 floors and none of them worked if you wanted ice you had to go down to guest services to request ice.

Overall the hotel served its purpose for what we went to Chicago for this time, but we go on weekend trips often and for multiple days at a time, this hotel would not be an ideal place for me and my family if we were on a long weekend trip or longer. Although it was a nice hotel it's not ideal for our family size and needs.

Great Customer Serivce Experience, but the room was not great.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel around 11pm after driving over an hour from Midway International Airport. We were greeted and the front desk staff was very pleasant and recognized my IHG Status. We were given our room keys and we dropped our bags off in the room. My wife and I had to be up early in the morning attend our sons graduation from Navy boot camp. So we left and drove to the location that night to familiarize ourselves with the area. We arrived back at our room around 12am. That is when we noticed the room was dirty. There were stray hairs over the bathroom floor. The shower was dirty and had hairs in it. I would’ve normally called and asked for a new room but it was late and we had to but early in the morning. My wife and I spend the following day with our son and didn’t return to our room until late. We were slated to have the room for another day but we decided to check out and early and move to another hotel. Overall, the room is dated, the sofa, and the overall furniture wasn’t appealing. There are rust stains on the ceiling in the showers as well. The beds we not that comfortable but they linen did seem fresh.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property based on my experience.

Front desk was great, as was the bartender. Only issue was my expectations, I was hoping for a better bar/restaurant onsite. While what they had was good I was thinking it was going to be bigger, my fault. Otherwise it was a good stay.
