Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service was again excellent This was our third stay at the Intercontinental Boston within two months. Service and food quality was again excellent. When we return to Boston we will definitely stay here again. 05 March 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Celebrated our anniversary in Boston and highly enjoyed our night stay at the Intercontinental. The person at the front desk gave my husband and I a card for two free drinks at the bar, when we were locating our room a woman cleaning welcomed us with a great smile, the room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Will definitely be choosing this hotel for our next trip to Boston. 05 March 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another Amazing Stay When in Boston look no further then the Boston Intercontinental for the best stay in Boston. This hotel is 5 star all the all. When I am in this city I hands downs pick this property The staff is what makes this hotel. Trust me give this hotel a try, they will blow you away!. 05 March 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, but lacking in gluten-free options This is almost an excellent hotel. The room we had was wonderful, being comfortable, spacious and with an excellent view. The location is very good, with Boston being a walking city, and the hotel is just a block away from a main railway and subway station. The downsides were (a) my wife needs gluten-free food (she is celiac), and the restaurant menus (breakfast and dinner) lacked imagination and provision for this important need, and (b) there were too many annoying errors in the final bill - fortunately I asked to see the bill before my card was charged and the mistakes were painstakingly corrected, but the receptionist was simply going to charge my card without allowing me to see the bill before I made the request. 05 March 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not my favorite Despite being an international chain, InterContinental usually makes their hotels feel highly local -- but not in Boston. This property is just a big, shiny box offering a kind of generic luxury but no sense of place. That's a shame, since Boston is one of the most distinctive cities in the US. In terms of operations, I thought the staff was aloof and the service haphazard (slow valet, no newspaper, etc.). Front desk needs a lot of work. On the plus side, housekeeping was flawless, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast in Miel was fantastic. (Portions are huge -- after splitting a pastry basket, we could only eat about half our hot breakfast.) Room choice: Be careful about waterfront rooms. My room was in the 37 line, and adjoining rooms jutted out on either side, so the view was very limited -- like looking out through a canyon. If I were to stay here again, I think I'd actually ask to be on the city side. 05 March 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We love this place My fiance and I stay at the hotel at least once a month, usually for a long weekend just to getaway. We love this place so much we someday look forward to moving into the residence side of the Intercontinental. we will definitely be returning once again this month for our usual getaway. 03 March 2015
