Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Customer service sadly not good. As an IHG Platinum for years, I have come to expect good things, especially from the more premium brands. I stayed here for work and was welcomed with unusually long check in. 1 person behind the counter and 1 person that just returned from a break. She asked if I had been waiting long. She must have known...cameras in the office maybe. I expressed I had...she apologized. I had purchased a package that included breakfast. I asked her if I needed vouchers. She said I was good because I was "in the system". Each moring the continental breakfast staff was truly annoyed by the fact we did not have vouchers. They had to call down to the front desk to confirm. People were behind us during this ineffecient process. On top of this, when we received our bill, breakfast was charged each of the 5 days at $72 a day. I had to call down to get this corrected. They promised to bring up a new bill. This never happened. My last morning, I skipped my free breakfast because I did not want to hassle to explain this away yet again. Upon check out, the lady asked about my stay. I told her that customer service was not a very good. She shyed away from this, but did apologize. She had to take the breakfast charges off my bill. Okay, so there are positives. Great location. Comfy bed. Nice amenities. But the lack of sincere effort on the staff this week sullied my experience. For $2000, there is much competition on the magnificent mile area. I recommend spending your money elsewhere. This property must have enough. Sadly disappointed. -aaron 27 March 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by newly renovated rooms We have always been treated well at the Inter Con. Good service and comfortable rooms. On this visit we were pleased with our newly renovated room. Very nice room with a great view. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a small table in the room. Our corner room was spacious enough to allow for one. I always enjoy using the fitness facilities 25 March 2015
