Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paradise This was the most beautiful and exotic place we have ever stayed. We have traveled extensively but this is the first tropical location. We spent 4 days on our way to New Zealand and they were wonderful. The room and bed were neat, clean and very comfortable. The pools and lagoon received a lot of use and the young man taking care of the pool by the restaurant was fabulous (Thom)/ He was so helpful and gracious, he moved chairs so our group could sit together and made sure we had our Passion Fruit cocktails. . Above and beyond service. The buffet breakfasts were outstanding, the selection was of the highest quality and quantity. Also the concierge was always willing to assist with touring plans Our only disappointment was with the tour to Morena with our guide Tom. We did not learn too much about Morena but we certainly got Tom's history. This was a recommendation from the Concierge and we thought you should know.. 03 March 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ~~~~AMAZING HONEYMOON THAT WE NEVER HAD~~~~~~~~~ I can't express enough how lovely our stay was at this beautiful Hotel. The renovations, when completed, are going to make it that much more spectacular. The only negative thing I would say, is they need to update their video with updated information about excursions. The Rhino rides are really now with a genuine Yamaha "Rhino" and the under water scuba diving with the underwater helmet, was no longer being offered. The staff were all so friendly, the food was fantastic and the shows were also spectacular. We will be back!!!!!!!!!!! 03 March 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful place We were totally wowed by this hotel. Expensive but mostly worth it. Our room was gorgeous, although we booked a garden view room but the "garden" ( actually a hedge) outside our room on the ground floor was so close that we really had no view. This would have been great from a privacy point of view, but as the terraces opened straight on to the lawn, other guests could walk right in front of your room. The bathroom was a bit scruffy and could do with a makeover, and the cups on the hospitality tray were dirty on arrival, and were not properly cleaned, except by us, during the stay. But there our criticism ends. The staff were so friendly and helpful and in semi traditional dress, nothing seemed too much trouble. The food in the standard restaurant was quite expensive, but was excellent and beautifully presented. Huge drinks menu, and a happy hour for cocktails daily. We were also given a voucher for 2 free cocktails. The pool was really pleasant, and the lagoonarium was great fun. Would go back in a heartbeat! 03 March 2015
