Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 778 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the world's finest InterContinental Hotels As an Ambassador member, I was pleasantly upgraded to a very nice and spacious room on the 3rd floor that comes with a large terrace and direct access to the swimming pool. The hotel granted early check-in at 6AM, which was much appreciated and needed because I flew in on a red eye flight. The room, while lacking the famous harbour view is compensated by its spaciousness (I would imagine this room could be sold under "Junior Suite" category), high ceiling, and a large terrace with sun loungers. I felt like I was in a resort rather then in a city hotel because the room face into the well kept garden. The bathroom is immaculate and everything was in working order (although the design is dated, the material used screams luxury). Amenities was generously provided and replenished. House keeping service is provided up to 3 times a day (I am beyond impressed). The bed was heavenly. The public area of the hotel is also well maintained. The lobby and reception area can become very busy during the day and evening because visitors flock to the lobby lounge for afternoon tea and drinks with the best view of HK island from Kowloon side. The doorman and reception staff are very professional and willing to help. The staff at the swimming pool are very friendly and will bring you anything you request. They even offered to take photos of me at the beautiful hot tub (a feature I most adore at the swimming pool). I dined at the Nobu Japanese restaurant and the food was amazing. Great sushi and very fresh sashimi. At lunch time they have set lunch at reasonable prices (about 300-400 HKD), I had their sunday set lunch for about (600 HKD). Breakfast was not included in my rate, but from my observation the spread looked amazing and I would be willing to shell out 400HKD for it next time I stay here. If you plan to use the MTR train frequently, beware that walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui station is relatively far (15 minutes walk excluding stairs you need to climb to get into the hotel). The hotel is closer to East Tsim Sha Tsui station, however it lies on a line and does not take you to tourists attraction. On the ground, you can walk to the Star Ferry, The Peninsula Hotel, and Nathan Road in less then 15 minutes however it can be a little challenging on a hot and humid day especially after a long day excursion/shopping. I recommend using taxis whenever possible. Besides the location of the hotel which is not the most convenient for me because I prefer to use TST MTR and explore the area closer to The Mira Hotel (in the heart of Nathan Road), I would still come back to the ICHK because they treat me so well and the rooms while not the most luxurious or modern are very comfortable for me. I feel truly at home at the ICHK. April 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Memorable end to a vacation Ended a 24 day tour/cruise in Asia with a night at the hotel. From start to finish the service was great, with a smile - always. The view of the harbor from our room will live long in memory. April 28, 2015
