Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice experience with some flaws The hotel presentation is very nice, with good facilities: pool very nice, beach maintained well, gym okay. The room is very nice with great amenities and furnishings all to the point. Staff is friendly and courteous. The manager was quite helpful with our problems. However, the scheduled power shortage during our stay was quite serious but no advance notice was give before arrival and no substantial compensation was offered. Overall the service team can do better: breakfast orders should be checked more carefully, house-keeping can be more attentive, problem-solving skills can improve. The English communicative ability of the general staff is a bit lacking; only Club Lounge butlers and service staff can communicate with us about our problems without any difficulty. The hotel is undergoing some engineering work currently and more attention should be made when workers enter guest room premises without disturbing the guest. August 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful hotel Breakfast was the best out of the 3 hotels I have visited in the last month. Room was spacious as I was upgraded automatically. The only drawback was the concierge service. The gentleman was a bit impatient when we had questions which might appear "dumb" to him. Otherwise, the entire experience was excellent. August 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No improvement I wonder if the hotel owner and the management have ever been fully aware of the state of the hotel in terms of its service. The facility looks good but the quality of service is that of a three star hotel. It was our first visit since 2011. Nothing has been improved since. When we checked-in, the room was not ready despite the fact that we arrived there at the normal check-in time and that I am a member of its loyalty program (platinum ambassador). My nephew who checked in earlier had to wait for their suitcases for more than 1 hour. It was delivered only after my interventions. On the second day, the room was not cleaned on time. It was done only at 3 PM after my wife's strong complains. When we checked out, no body came to pick up our suit cases. The staff in the restaurants do not clear our dishes quickly. Anyway they are not attentive. When I complained the overall performance of the hotel, the staff was a little defensive and kept saying that she would look into it and improve. I don't blame the staff. I do blame the hotel management who continue to fail to provide the service up to the international standard. I assume that professionalism is lacking at the all levels. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worst experience ever Seems quite a nice hotel to stay in Hua Hin compared to other hotel brands. But was hugely disappointed with the services...e.g. bath tub leakage...asked for slippers and only arrive the next going on during our stay...even with a very loud explosion at their electrical room which cut the power off completely for few hours.
