I was generally happy with the hotel services and would come again. Only problem, which is a universal African problem, is that the staff (and not all staff) don't treat African guests with the same courtesy as they do the Western guests. Which is just too bad and sad for Africa.

My stay at the InterContinental Lusaka was one of the best experiences that I have encountered in recent years. The courtesy, politeness and desire to provide outstanding service by all of the staff with whom I was fortunate to come into contact with was striking.
The facilities are of a quality and range as I expect for an InterContinental, but it was was the enthusiasm of the staff to provide exceptional levels of service that will remain with me for a considerable time.
If the opportunity ever arises, I will definitely return to the InterContinental Lusaka.

Aside from a convenient location close to the center and customer premises I would strongly suggest the hotel management to review it's guest rooms as the road noise combined with staff having discussions outside at the front does slightly interfere with a good night sleep. Equally, a shower that allows people taller than 1.70 meters seems no tremendous luxury to me.
All in all, slightly disappointing for an Intercontinental.

Adequate sitting arrangements at the lobby

My stay at the hotel was excellent since the overall appearance was impressive and the staff was efficient in service delivery. However, the restaurant has to improve in terms of variety of the food provided. In addition, something needs to be done in terms of flies repellent more especially in summer because there were a lot of flies at the restaurant during the day.
