    Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Two cockroaches in my room I had to kill two cockroaches in my room, on two consecutive days. This was very alarming for me. No hotel that is seen as a 4 or 5 star hotel should have a cockroach problem. It did not make sleeping in that room a very pleasant experience for me one little bit. The only other thing about the room was the automated lighting system which when on low would make the lights flicker very quickly, this was very annoying and in the end I just turned them off and left the bed lights on instead. The staff I can say were very helpful, especially Ivanna on reception who was very understanding and helpful with the roach issue. 02 March 2015
    Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed by pool bar Overall the hotel was good, however there was one incident that ruined our weekend. The main reason for booking this hotel was the location and the pool bar, so when it finally opened after rain until lunch time we were allowed in at 2pm. At approximately 3.30pm there was an incident in the pool and surrounding area which rendered our visit/swim finished. There was an apology from the duty manager however we were very disappointed at the lack of communication and compensation, particularly because this formed the basis of our weekend away. I had flown my best friend up in from interstate so all were particularly excited to be lazing in and by the pool. 02 March 2015
    Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cheap make over i love this hotel and first stayed here when it was the Ritz Carlton in the 80s so glad it has reopened but its is a shame the make over is cheap as far as the painting etc sorry but to paint over the lovely stained timber is wrong wrong wrong they should of restored it back to its beauty. The desk staff are friendly but not helpful and as for the DJ playing in the lounge in the evening it got to go love the hotel but has lost it charm of the Ritz Carlton shame 26 February 2015
