Manhã

Start your day with delicious breakfast at B-restaurant&bar overlooking our beautiful green Ljubljana. A short walk will take you to the old city centre to explore the city’s medieval streets. Cross the Triple Bridge and head to the Central Market where you can buy local delicacies, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers and woodcraft made by local artisans. The Central Market is an important monument, designed by Ljubljana’s most renowned architect Jože Plečnik. His heritage can be admired all over the city, from the Central Market with its colonnades, to the Triple and Cobbler’s bridge, as well as Križanke summer theatre and many more. Next up is a stop at the baroque masterpiece - Cathedral of St. Nicholas designed by Italian architect Andrea Pozzo. Continue to the famous Dragon Bridge guarded by four green dragons which, if the legends are true, sleep underneath the castle hill. There are many routes to reach the Ljubljana castle on top of the hill and it will take you only about 20 minutes if you go on foot. If you just want to relax, use funicular and admire the city. Here you can enjoy an exquisite lunch at restaurant Strelec while tasting the best wines that Slovenia has to offer.

Tarde

After an exquisite lunch Slovenians love to drink coffee so why not stop at Vigó. They serve enchanting coffee and sweets that will satisfy all tastes. Through the window you can admire one of the most important baroque monuments, Fountain of the Three Rivers of Carniola by Francesco Robba. Sail the Ljubljanica River on a traditional wooden boat to experience the city from different perspective. Along the way you will also spot some other inhabitants of Ljubljana, herons, ducks, and otters are no strangers to the city. Visit the National Gallery which houses the country’s largest collection of most important artwork dating from the middle ages to the 20th century. Afterwards, continue to the nearby Tivoli Park for a relaxing stroll through Ljubljana’s largest park. If you feel like shopping head to the Designer store Galerija Emporium located on Prešeren Square.

Noite

As the sun begins to set, go for a walk by Ljubljanica river, where you will find many bars lined along it, for a refreshing cocktail or a glass of locally produced wine. Ljubljana is a young and lively city and there is always something happening so be sure to ask our concierge team who will be more than happy to advise you on evening happenings tailored to your need. If you decide to spend your evening in a more lie down way, our bar on the 20th floor offers a vast verity of drinks and 30 Gin’s, which you can taste while admiring our lovely city going to sleep, with twinkling lights and somehow mysterious mist.
