O que você pode fazer
O Dia Perfeito

Manhã

Experience a blissful morning when you stroll through the Golden Gate Park to Point Lobos, the city's most western district. Take in the views of timeless crashing waves as you enjoy a bite to eat at the famous Louis' cafe. Satiated, hike through the Coastal Trails at Lands End, enjoying the stunning clifftops views above Sutro Baths, the historic 19th-century bathhouse. As you drift through the trails, revel in breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the magnetic Golden Gate Bridge.

Tarde

Within Golden Gate park, the iconic de Young Museum showcases not only collections of historical American art, but provides a rich view into contemporary textile arts from the rest of Americas, Africa, and the Pacific. As you make your way through the various exhibits, take a moment to stop by the observation deck for panoramic views of the park and surrounding cityscape. Then head over to the park's eastern end, the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, synonymous with late-1960s counterculture. Soak up the vibe as you browse through the chic vintage fashion boutiques and book stores on tree-lined streets while sipping on a latte from a nearby coffee shop.

Noite

As evening falls, take a short walk from the hotel to catch a streetcar at the junction of Powell Street and Market Street, the city's main artery, to the Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood. Feast on local seafood cuisine at the lively Pier 39, where you will find a choice of casual seafood restaurants such as Fog Harbor Fish House and Crab House. Or if you are in the mood for classic cuisine with a relaxed, family-run atmosphere, the nearby North Beach district features Italian restaurants like Da Flora and Tony's Pizza Napoletana.

  • Angel Island

Angel Island is the West Coast's version of Ellis Island where over 175,000 Chinese and Japanese immigrants waited for entry to the US. Now it is a tranquil retreat with bike and hiking trails, and even a few campsites. Ferries leave daily from Pier 39, or from Tiburon across the bay.

  • Maltese Falcon

Author Dashiell Hammett wrote the book "The Maltese Falcon" and one of his haunts was John's Grill on Ellis Street. Opened in 1908, John's Grill hasn't changed their menu much; fresh steaks and local seafood. Sam Spade was very fond of the lamb chops, or so the books tell us. You can order them as well, as they are still on the menu.

  • Our Song

"I Left My Heart in San Francisco" was written by Douglass Cross and George Cory. After you have been with us here in our beautiful city for a few days, we bet that you will lose your's here too.
