Climate and clothing
Hanoi experiences four seasons in one year so please check the weather in the city before planning your trip, or seek assistance from our hotel team.
From May to September, the temperature is expected to be high with humidity and the sunshine can be intense.
From November to March, the weather is usually dry and cold, with lots of wind especially between December and January.
Make sure you will bring coats, scarves for the winter and sunglasses, sunscreen when you visit us in the summer.
Hat and Umbrella
The city of Hanoi may welcome visitors with a shower on a typical sunny day of the tropical land, so be prepared with umbrellas, which are available inside the wardrobe of your room, or at the Bell Desk, with assistance from our team.
Comfortable Shoes
Walking around the Hanoi City Centre and the famous Old Quarter, especially during the weekend where cars and motorbikes are blocked from around the Hoan Kiem Lake, is a lovely experience that can’t be missed!
Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes. High heels are not recommended on the streets of Hanoi.
Cameras
Coming to such an alluring city that’s full of scenery and lively actions happening at every street corner, you would not want to leave it without saving some memories.
The exotic beauty of the Old Quarter and the panoramic view of Hanoi from your room will make you reluctant to put your camera down.
Medicine
New weather allergy and jet lag might happen, so some medicines that are familiar to you may eliminate all risks of suffering.
The local drugstores do supply regular off-the-counter medicines, however it is recommended to bring your own medication and subscription.
