Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous Property and Conveniently Located Having never stayed in an Intercontinental Hotel, I was curious to see the quality vs my traditional brands and in fact was VERY IMPRESSED. Front Desk staff was quick and efficient, the rooms were very comfortable and and allowed for a wonderful and safe sleeping experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking in the Tampa area. May 20, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks better than it is Stayed 14 days at this hotel on business. First room booked into was dirty, second room's door was ajar when I arrived at it, third and final room was not cleaned with any constancy (Glasses not replaced, floors not vacuumed, sometimes cleaning supplies were left in room, folded sheets left on bed, etc). Ambassador status perks (daily news paper, bottled water) were received after my 10th day at hotel. I have stayed at nicer Holiday Inn properties, sad that this hotel let the IHG brand down. If I had never stayed at an InterContinental hotel before and known what the experience should be like I doubt that I would ever stay at one again if this was my measure of an InterContinental Hotel. I was apologised to more that I have ever been apologised to in a hotel and it seemed that that is just what everyone did. There were never any real solutions to issues just apologies. Pretty sad of a property that could be so much more. May 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rather Good! I stayed here for 2 nights. I have to say it was pretty good! the valet staff was very polite. the lobby looks great and smells great. the lobby staff was very polite and helpful as well. room was rather big and comfy and clean. only unclean item was the bathrobe in which we found hair from a previous guest. on the 1st morning we headed out and forgot to remove "DO NOT DISTURB" sign. so of course room was not cleaned or done by house keeping. later that night when we went back out we requested that they send housekeeping to do the room. upon our return to the room we noticed that they did a very poor job at house keeping. bed was made in a lousy fashion and sheets were not changed. towels left in bathroom also left in a lousy fashion and amenities in bathroom where not replenished as we had used most of them. also bathroom was not cleaned. neither was the room. they simply did the bed and replaced towels in the most lazy way possible. breakfast at shulas was amazing.
