We just returned from a two night stay here and are extremely satisfied
The hotel is very easy to find – we went by car from Paris. You cannot miss it if you get off at the adjoining metro and rail
station. The metro station is just a few walk distance (just cross the road)
Emma, Ben and Jill at the Reservation Department were very helpful when I made my booking and Carly at the reception desk took care of us at our check-in.
Every encounter with reception staff was excellent. Dax, the Guest Relation Manager is really most kind. All that we spoke to on anything specific appeared knowledgeable.
We booked two rooms which were excellent. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is modern. The roomy shower is great ! Underfloor heating is excellent during a cold February. TV channels are limited for French speakers…
We booked rooms with Club Lounge access so the tea coffee making facilities and minibar in the room were free of charge. Spirits, Whiskies, Wine and other drinks were available.
We only regret there were no hot or cold snacks like in all the other Crowne Plaza or Intercontinental with Club Lounge where we stayed before. We’ve got only peanuts and chips and some cheese.
We had breakfast and found it was an excellent full Buffet breakfast. Like any buffet style timing is of the essence if piping hot food is wanted although by request the chef can do egg based items to order.
The Breakfast Team was really very nice and helpful. They always tend to our very need. Jean-Michel the Assistant F&B Manager, Attila, Liam, Paula gave great service to us. Special thought for Attila and Paula...
The train / metro service is very quick into the city. The metro is about 10 minutes to Amsterdam Main Station.
Certainly I would have no hesitation going back to this hotel for a further stay in Amsterdam. [Moins]
