This hotel is in a great location for exploring London. It is opposite Blackfriars Station and within 100yds of Blackfriars Bridge across The River Thames.
This is a top grade hotel which we will[More] return to on our next visit to London[Less]
I had a great stay at the Crown Plaza London the City. I would definitely go back again[Less]
Very Comfortable Stay
Have stayed in a few hotels in the Hemel area over the years, whilst visiting relatives with my wife. Most of these seem to have outpriced themselves. They may offer a bit more- some have a pool and[More] leisure facilities. If you are not too bothered about these extras a stay at the Holiday Inn Express will more than meet your needs for a short stay. Prices are very reasonable and it has a fantastic location by the canal and marina and is right next to a very nice pub where we had an excellent meal.[Less]
comfortable, and the parking can be a bit difficult[Less]
Great and Friendly service
Very clean hotel and good choice of breakfast. Close to nice area for a walk and local pub[Less]
Clean room only good thing I can say. .
We used the Holiday Inn Kingston as a stopover for a visit to Hampton Court and then onto Brooklands. The hotel is off just off the main road with a view over the river thames. The hotel was clean[More] and welcoming and we greatly appreciated the room upgrade (possibly due to our rewards club membership) and had a lovely room with a balcony overloking the river. Staff were polite and more than helpful. We had a meal in Jacks the jotel restaurant which was really good and value for money. Overall we felt we made a good choice for our night away. My only criticism (and it is a minor one) is that we were late arriving and had difficulty finding a parking space.[Less]
No Lions Rugby Match!
By Heno 1066
Desk staff assured us that we would be able to watch the Lions v All Blacks rugby match on the bar TV Saturday morning but not so as TV package did not subscribe to it. Staff member said the[More] previous matches had been shown. Several very disappointed guests at breakfast, particularly the couple who only stayed (and paid) for breakfast because they thought they would see the game, very poor show from HI![Less]
