A regular client at Holiday Inn Express, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the one bed and shower area.
I noticed several hairs and trimmings in the shower, but was able to shower them off
the walls and tub before getting my shower. And I'm a hairy dude, so human hairs don't bother me too much.
But when I pulled back the covers on one of the Queen beds in the room, I noticed long, black, curly hairs on the sheets.
I went over to the other bed and inspected it, it was clean of long hairs so I slept in that one. Saving grace for having an extra bed in the room, otherwise I'd have had to request a move, which after a long business trip I didn't have the energy to do.
When I stay at the Holiday Inn in Lakewood, I'm always greeted as an IHG member and given my points total. When I check in at the Holiday Inn Express on Tower Road, the young adults there barely speak and are busy on their phones. Maybe I should text them that I'm arriving. Might get a warmer greeting.
