My wife and I were impressed with the location of our hotel which was midtown Manhattan. That said, the cost versus space and amenities was indicative of Manhattan. We paid a significant nightly
rate for a room that was very small by any standard. Of course, we spent relatively little time in the room - and it was close to museums, Broadway, etc.
The most notable impression we were left with was the ingenuity to squeeze six guest rooms per floor into a space that might typically hold three guest rooms. [Less]
