my account shows). I would never think of staying at any other hotel in the uptown area because when I come here I feel welcomed and at home. Below are things I wanted to acknowledge and bring to managements attention from my last stay (in no particular order).
JJ is amazing at what he does. He does his job very professionally and is the “go to” guy for information on everything and anything related to the area.
Vinny has a great attitude and really enjoys what he does. It is shown anytime he helps me or any other guest. He makes a killer hot cocoa and flavored waters. By far a great thing to look forward to after work.
Josh is the man anytime I have questions about my IHG points missing (Which is often and has to be my only complaint. My points take longer to load to my account then my coworkers do.) He helped me resolve an issue with my points in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Rebecca, Ninfa, Arlene, Sierra, Elani, Ali, Juan and Charles are very welcoming and professional. They always assisted me anytime I needed something (which is often as I am a needy person). I have had at least a couple of interactions with the aforementioned and they always help with a smile and outstanding attitude. I really appreciate it.
As far as the shuttle drivers, Dallas and Luke are amazing. They are very attentive on the road. I feel safe in the shuttle when they drive. They seem to know everything about the area as well. I have to mention that Dallas’s attitude and persona really brighten my day and he seems to be utilized where needed. Very versatile employee (as seen by me).
The group of valet guys (Dan, Eddy, and Omar) are also very professional and attentive. Anytime my Uber/shuttle pulled up, they quickly opened the door for me and welcomed me back. To me it is those little things that count.
The Sienna Café staff makes me feel at home. So much so, that Ed was able to get me my favorite beer during my stay. I had requested that Dos X be put on the menu. He made it happen. This small gesture went a long way and I was happy to know that my request had not fallen on “deaf ears”. Jolene and Amy are great bar tenders. Anytime they see me, they greet me with a smile and welcome me. Thomas and Allan (I might have his name wrong.) have always provided me extraordinary service in the mornings. Anytime I show up for breakfast (which is every morning), they have my tea, ketchup, and hot sauce on the table before I get back from the buffet line. I honestly do not need to ask them. They know. That is awesome!!
Last but definitely not least that I would like to mention is the entire housekeeping staff that took care of my room during my entire stay. They always left my room in an immaculate condition. They pay attention to detail and replenished anything I used the night before. They are undoubtedly very hard workers and I appreciate it.
Overall, this hotel is amazing and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to feel at home when they're away from home. [Less]
