A couple of day away!

Our stay here is pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice that they had a shuttle to pick up and drop off near the RiverWalk. However, it only operated from 1pm to 9pm. [More] It was within walking distance from the hotel but I would not walk it at night. It wasn't bad walking to the Riverwalk during the day, but you were walking through a bunch of abandoned buildings, that's why I would not do it at night. It would be nice if the shuttle went until around 11pm so you could enjoy the evening down there. The second night we were there I wasn't feeling well and just wanted some fruit, a banana would have been ideal but none to be found. I asked for a small fruit plate instead. That cost me $8.00 and the fruit was so hard I couldn't eat it. Other than that it was a nice stay. [Less]

Nice place to stay
By man8tee
We mentioned that the hot water in the shower on the 4th floor didn't last very long before it went cold and the staff immediately moved us to another and nicer room on the 2nd floor. VERY NICE The [More] room on the 4th floor faced the houses behind the hotel which turned out to be a bad thing since it was NEW YEARS and the fireworks going off by the people in the houses were so loud and created so much smoke!! Not the hotels fault, but next New Years I'm requesting a room that overlooks the front of the hotel instead. [Less]
