    Pretty awful experience

    Let me start by saying that I never write reviews. But I fell as though this one was warranted. When we arrived the hotel was under construction. I didn’t know that, but it also didn’t really impact us. However, the elevator was broken and we had to walk up to our room (they at least put us on the third floor). Some guests in the lobby also told us that the water wasn’t on because it is always turned off on fridays from 10-3 (we arrived at 2:30). Water is kind of an important thing, but by the time we got to our room it was on. Later that evening we heard someone trying to open the door to our room. It was about 6:00pm. The girl who checked us in and had assigned us our room opened the door (teaches me to always triple lock from now on) and was about to put another couple in our room. It was very awkward and she never apologized. A few minutes later she came back banging on the door and when I opened it she said “You obviously aren’t in the system...what is your last name?” Not one “I’m sorry.” We did get that night for half the price that we were supposed to pay after I told a manager the next morning. We weren’t supposed to get cleaning service on Saturday but we did, which was a plus. However, when I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom I stepped on something that poked my foot and I thought it was a small rock. At further inspection it was a tooth...a human tooth. Maybe from a smaller child?? That blew my mind and I resolved that despite the location and larger room we would no longer be staying there. We did not use the kitchen (had no need) but I don’t think that I could have. The kitchen sink hardly drained and it all looked dirty. I was expecting this to be similar to a drury inn or something like that, but it definitely was not. Highly disappointed.
