Very Disappointing Stay

First of all, I do want to recognize the staff! They were very friendly, helpful, and cordial.

I would not recommend staying here until all the renovations are done. Just remnants of construction everywhere—paint drips, dust, the typical effects from construction. Secondly, the Social Hour experience was extremely disappointing. I know it’s an amenity provided, but when the hotel advertises a nice spread of food items, and appetizers, and all they offer are hot dogs, runny chili, carrot and celery sticks, & cookies, it’s very disappointing! Additionally, all the construction workers, still in their dusty/dirty work clothes (30-50 of them), are all getting their food at the same time. It was very unappetizing and, frankly, does not appear to be very hygienic or healthy. (Dusty, long sleeve jerseys on some of the workers, reaching in over the food to retrieve their selections, is definitely unappetizing!)

Additionally, one of the reasons I stayed here was the hotel advertised an airport shuttle service. The shuttle was parked out front. When I called the desk to inquire about taking the shuttle the following day (a Thursday), I was told it wasn’t running that day. Another disappointment! (So, I had to arrange for an Uber).
Fortunately I was only staying for one night!!

Aged hotel with great staff.

The hotel is very aged and it shows. However, the staff does keep up the place well and keeps it clean.

I stay here every time I'm in Austin. Staff know me and take very good care of me, and greet me by name. It's my home away from home as I'm here usually a couple of times a month. Even though renovations are ongoing, you would never know it except for the signs in the elevator. I highly recommend this property to any wanting a nice place to stay in Austin Texas

Overall good customer service wasn't present.

Due to the smell and dust in the rooms, I left with congestion, running nose
and a sore throat.

We travel all over the country and this hotel has been the best one by far. Highly recommend to anyone in the Austin area to stay here.

The hotel is well located with good access to Hwy 71 and the airport. The property is in clear need of an update. It looks liek it is in process, but also that its being sort of shabbily handled. Elevator is tiny and the signage inside is shabbily arranged and looks very unprpfession, uncaring. One guest near the elevator is stacked with furniture (undertandable..but at least close the door).

Great sleep and nice place.

We got to the hotel early and the room was ready, my family was happy with the room since I got upgraded as an IHG member, staff was great and easy to talk to.

Its not easy to travel with 3 families on board, but they made it easy to manage accomodations!.
