This hotel is in a great location. The beds are very comfortable. Our tworoom suite was spacious and well decorated. Staff were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel for short or long term stays.

Good quality for fair price.

Customer service was fabulous! The hotel and room were clean and smell good. The building is old but management has kept it well, but you can tell it’s an older building. The elevator is old.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Very nice, friendly staff, clean and a pool for the summer months. Breakfast served everyday and coffee, tea, hot chocolate is in the lobby for all day use.

Welcoming Hotel, Could Be Even Better

I stayed at Staybridge Columbia for 11 nights with my family. Overall, the experience was positive, but there were a few areas that could be improved.

From the start, the staff was warm and welcoming. Check-in was easy and I appreciated how clearly everything was explained. The outdoor areas were well cared for, and my daughter and I enjoyed the pool, especially since towels were provided right on site. Breakfast was also a nice perk each morning. The food was good, though the proteins were always pork. The sign said alternatives were available, but each time I asked, there weren’t any. Offering turkey or another option at least some days would make a big difference for guests who don’t eat pork.

Housekeeping kept the room tidy and wasn’t intrusive, which I liked. But during an 11-night stay, service was only provided three times. That made it tough to keep up with things like fresh towels and dish detergent. The front desk was always helpful when I requested items, but a lighter service every few days to restock essentials would have gone a long way.

One issue that was more serious came up with the refrigerator. I placed my medication and food inside when I arrived, only to find the next day that the refrigerator had been switched off. By then, my medication and food had spoiled. Since the fridge looks like it’s running, I would suggest placing a clear sign so guests know they need to turn it on when they arrive.

The room itself had some drawbacks too. The built-in toiletries were mounted high up on the shower wall, which made bath time with my child a challenge. A small set of travel-size products would have been helpful. The room also had a damp smell that never went away, and the desk outlets didn’t work, which I had also experienced on a previous stay. That made it inconvenient when I needed to get work done.

Overall, the staff is friendly and the property has some great features, but a few changes would make the stay more comfortable. I would stay here again, though I hope these issues are addressed.

Overall the stay was good. The breakfast was yummy. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly and attentive. My only complaints would be that there was a bad odor in the hallway. The elevator was outdated. The color scheme of the hotel was kinda lame too. Some neighbors were playing music too loud too. Very annoying.

The Staybridge suites had everything that we needed for a quick stay. We were quite impressed with the kitchenette supplies, and the breakfast buffet was beyond what we expected. The breakfast food was very delicious and well stocked. I would definitely recommend the spot for a budget friendly option in the area.

Staff services very poor. When we arrived the staybridge suites Columbia elevator was not working. We have to carry all our logages via stay to our 2nd floor room without any help from any of the staybridge suites Columbia staff.We have 2 days where our room was leaking and there was no light for those 2 days. We stayed for 13 days. The manager gave us $175 for one night out of our 13 nights we stayed

Clean rooms, quick check in and had a comfortable stay. Courteous staff and also enjoyed breakfast. Kids love the Pool, basketball court. Convenient location .

Have stayed here many times and it has always been a positive experience; it has a great location, the staff is great and the rooms are very comfortable. Special recognition to the GM (very visible) and the staff in the dining area.
