Failure to Have Room Ready per Contract

A beautiful hotel that is poorly managed and a failure for clean toilet which had feces on bottom of seat. Room was not ready at 3PM. We sat waiting for the room for 1 1/2 hours. It was obvious that the staff had no idea what rooms were and were not cleaned. No quality control for rooms to ensure cleaning staff fully serviced room.

No place to hang towel

The hotel was great. The only fault was there was no place to put your towel within reach of the shower.

Big room but could be cleaner

First off the room we had was huge. Nice living room with 2 bedrooms.
The cons were the dishwasher in the kitchen didn’t work and they didn’t furnish the dishwasher soap. Also the master bathroom shower had hair in it (not ours) also the toilet had urine under the seat cover. The only other thing is that one side of the bed on the nightstand had an outlet for you devices to charge but they would only work when the light switch was on. That would have been fine if the light was able to shut off. So to charge your devices at night you would have to sleep with the lights on on that side.

Room was not clean but was to tired to complain when I got there. No carts to carry luggage and groceries to the room. Always out of breakfast by 7:15 and coffee. Waitstaff just seemed slack and housekeeping was not the best! My floors were sticky and the tables had food and sticky residue from previous guests. Housekeeping has definitely went downhill since my last visit.

Mixed Experience.... Room for Improvement

We recently stayed at Staybridge Suites for the third time and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, we really appreciated the newness of the hotel and the cleanliness of our accommodations. The modern amenities and well-kept environment made for a comfortable stay.

However, we did encounter some issues during our visit. The treadmills in the gym need attention, as they felt loose and nearly caused me to fall due to intermittent pauses. It was a bit concerning and should be addressed for guest safety.

Additionally, we noticed that the breakfast offerings have gone downhill since our previous visits. The area was not as clean as we expected, and we found ourselves waiting multiple times for more food to be put out. Unfortunately, there were no fruit or yogurt options available during our stay. As someone with limited ability to take in food after surgery, I struggled to find protein-rich options. The breakfast choices leaned heavily toward carbohydrates, which made it difficult for me to sustain my dietary needs. There was also an open drink left inside the refrigerator in our room that we had to dispose of prior to using the refrigerator for ourselves.

Lastly, I want to mention that the price of staying here during busier weekends, especially during ECU activities and games, can be quite steep. As an ECU parent, it would be nice to have a clean, comfortable option like this hotel more accessible at a reasonable price during those times.

While we enjoy the hotel’s ambiance and cleanliness, I hope the management can work on improving the breakfast experience, gym equipment, and pricing strategy for future visits.

The staff at this hotel other then the young man that check me in do not care about this hotel. The hotel was dirty and breakfast was not a good experience at all.

Housekeeping needs to be addressed immediately

Serious issues with room cleanliness! A lot of hair in the shower, urine on the top of toilet bowl, food in refrigerator/freezer, etc. Changed rooms and had minor issues with new room. The facility is nice...however cleanliness is paramount and trumps everything.

My husband and I enjoyed the lovely, spacious room with comfortable furnishings and fully equipped kitchen. The staff was friendly and professional. We will definitely choose Staybridge Suites during our next visit to Greenville.

I traveled to the area for the local university. I wanted to prepare a meal in my room and required extra kitchen tools. I approached housekeeping to ask for tools. She was very prompt and gracious in gathering and delivering items to my room.
