Excellent location, food, room, service, quiet. The staff ia very knowledgeable about the city, restaurant options. Laundry service ia also very good and fast. Highly recommend it.

Excellent Hotel in Excellent Location

Staybridge in Sao Paulo is an excellent location in Itaim Bibi. Several great restaurants are close by. The staff is extremely responsive and helpful. The hotel itself is in great condition. My room was quiet and I slept very well. Really loved the breakfast bar as well. Lots of options for protein and sweets.

Love and highly recommend this hotel

Love this hotel! It is in a safe, clean area. The staff is very nice and the breakfast offered by the hotel is very good. The hotel was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. As a plus, the hotel connects to a movie theater and food court in the back and that was perfect for our stay.

Reconsidering staying again

I like this hotel a lot. I cannot count how many nights i stayed there. However, it was a bid disappointment when I realized the management intentionally reduced the water pressure in the shower. I called maintenance and they said there is nothing to be done. It was a no brainer to me where to stay on my frequent travels to Sao Paulo. I am reconsidering.

Overrated and overpriced

This hotel is really located in a 🆕 ce neighborhood of Sao Paulo and the staff are amazing people. However, the rooms need better maintenance. My bathroom sink was clogged, it didn't drain quickly. Safe was broken, they had to replace it with a new one. The insulation of the balcony door and windows was not good. The showerhead made so much noise it felt like an aircraft taking off, adjusting temperature was a challenge. It was too much outside noise and draft making it a bit hard to sleep. I think this facility is overrated and overpriced for what I got.

the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I chose Staybridge Itaim for its location and even paid an additional fee, booking through Bancorbrás. From the start, I was placed in a room that seemed to be used internally by hotel staff — which already felt very inappropriate.

Things got worse: staff members attempted to enter my room multiple times while I was inside, including once at around 3:30 AM, which left me feeling completely unsafe and unable to sleep. One staff member even entered the room without knocking and was surprised to find me there. After that, I started blocking the door with weight and using the lock, but two more attempts to open the door occurred. The sense of insecurity was unacceptable.

I reported it to the front desk, and a man presented himself as the manager (which I later discovered wasn’t true). At no point did he show empathy or attempt to resolve the issue — he just kept making excuses. After I insisted, they finally moved me to another room. Still, when I returned to the first room to get my belongings, I found a housekeeper already inside — even though I hadn’t checked out yet.

Another uncomfortable moment occurred when I asked a staff member whether I should take a hairdryer nozzle I had requested to the new room. She told me to leave it there. Moments later, she called the front desk suggesting I was trying to take it without permission, which was a baseless and humiliating accusation.

The only person who showed any professionalism was the actual manager, who contacted me later to apologize. However, even she tried to deny that there had been any attempts to enter my room, which I found extremely disrespectful after everything I had described.

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The very minimum a guest expects is safety and respect. During my stay, I felt fear, discomfort, and was treated with neglect and humiliation by much of the staff.

Sou de São Paulo mas gostaria de uma noite romantica especial com meu namorado, entao decidi utilziar os pontos. Antes de realizar a reserva, liguei no hotel e informei que desejava avaliar pacotes romanticos, ficaram de me enviar informações por WhatsApp porem esta mensagem nunca chegou. Ao realizar o check-in, os funcionários foram muito atenciosos, porém a vestimento não está de acordo com o alto padrão do local, visto a forma desleixada de cuidado com apresentação pessoal. Sobre o boas vindas para um hóspede IHG, só fui reconhecida no fina quando perguntei se estava tudo certo com o pagamentot e viram que era por pontos, entao me ofereceram um item e logo o que eu pedi nao tinha. Ao subir para o quarto, ele era excelente, mesmo nao sendo em um andar tão alto (como eu havia solicitado). O pacote romantico, como nao ocorreria pois nao recebi nenhuma informação, não ocorreu. Visitei as areas de academia e piscina que são muito importantes pois tenho hábitos de treino diários, contudo a piscina estava MUITO suja, com várias folhas e sujeiras, impossibilitando completamente o uso. Os funcionários da recepção da academia nao tiveram nenhuma atenção para explicar como funcionava para os hóspedes. Eu fiquei um tempo e tive que pedir ajuda para outra pessoa me explicar e depois para um funcionario pois eles estavam ocupados fazendo qualquer outra coisa menos recepcionando os hospedes. No cafe da amnha, o host não estava na entrada e tive que esperar um bom tempo em pé com meu parceiro, entrei no cardapio que consta o codigo na mesa e vi que tinham outros itens, pedimos a um atendente uma tapioca e a resposta foi "vc tem que escolher o que vai dentro" sem me dar nenhuma opção e falamos a primeira na nossa mente e pronto, caso tenha algo especial, nao sabemos. Perguntei do misto quente e fui informada que "tem tudo no balcão, voce mesmo pode fazer", deixando muito a faltar na atenção ao cliente. Ao sair com a moto que estava no estacionamento, foi colocado o selo no ticket porem ninguem explicou que tinhamos que validar, ficamos um tempo testando e nao funcionou na cancela, formou uma fila atras de nós, tivemos que retornar para a vaga, descer e pedir informação para entao conseguir sair para um compromisso que estava com o tempo bem apertado. Infelizmente, sinto que usei meus pontos em um hotel que nao valia a pena e que nao deveria ter sido escolhido. Para uma noite romantica, tive estresse d começo ao fim e zero itens romanticos.

I had a great experience at the Staybridge Sao Paulo, stayed there for 11 nights and the room was comfortable. They also assigned my room based on my noted requirements.

Want to also recognise Elio in the front desk who went out of his way to provide us assistance when booking transportation and asked for suggestions on places to visit. We manage to discover amazing places and create beautiful memories in the short amount of time we had available, and all thanks to him!

Wonderful experience and would definite recommend.

Foi incrível estar no Staybridge Suítes! O hotel é muito bem localizado, o apartamento é completo e o atendimento foi impecável. Deixo meus agradecimentos especiais aos recepcionistas Pablo e Hélio, uns queridos! Durante o checkin e checkout, não deixaram passar nenhum detalhe. E também a responsável pela arrumação do quarto durante minha hospedagem, se não me engano se chamava Shayene. Recomendo fortemente! 10/10
