Comfortable Room and Friendly Staff

Very nice room as the property is currently undergoing renovations. The floor we were on was completed. Hotel is close to plenty of restaurants and the islands aren’t very far.

Everything was great-great to have clean the food breakfast. Did not meet my expectations. It was better at 1 time and and something awkward was going on outside. There was a guy peaking through the window and they did not call the law.

My husband and I were very happy with our stay here. Even though, there was construction in the lobby there were excellent accommodations. We are very grateful for Bharath’s hospitality and genuine desire to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bead was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The property is being renovated and walls were open, electrical wirings were hanging from the ceiling, plumbing pipes were exposed and the tile in the lobby was being removed with an air chisel and dust and broken tile was flying all throughout the lobby all while guest were trying to check in. We passed on the breakfast as the dinning area was under construction with ceiling tiles missing and construction trash and dust was strewn throughout and a scissor lift was positioned in the middle of the room. The construction was limited to the first floor. Also, the swimming pool covered with a tarp was not available. Other than a note indicating the property was undergoing a refresher, none of this was mentioned during the booking experience.

The staffs were friendly but didn’t care. The conditioner bottle had shampoo. The internet connection I complained took 2 days and contact to the corporate office.

The staff was super friendly obviously because of renovations the hotel was not very attractive, but that’s completely understandable. I go to Staybridge as much as I can because of the social, but unfortunately, this was the worst one I’ve ever been to. Nothing to do with the staff just the quality of food.

Staybridge is a fine hotel( based upon my experience staying in hotels in the Corpus Christi Texas USA.) I recommend this hotel over any others within a ten mile area. The staff respects your rights to privacy. Yet helpful when needed. Best Bang for the buck.

I would not recommend till construction is completed. The common room was being rebuilt, only a few tables to sit. Pool was closed. My room was just remodeled but contractors didn’t use great detail. Slept good, but would pay $10 and stay at the one closer to beach.

Absolutely horrible experience. Never again. App stating that renovations had been complete, arrived to find renovations in full swing...even got to eat breakfast with a manlift parked in the dining area! The "newly" remodeled room we were placed in had horrible workmanship (grout and caulking everywhere, doors didn't shut all the way, etc), plus the new thermostat didn't work at all - so the temp was stuck on 67 degrees the whole time. Furthermore, there were issues with the Fire alarm system (caused by a faulty detector in the market area). Instead of calling a fire alarm company out in the middle of the night for an emergency service call, the hotel management took it upon them selves to silence the audible alarms, but allowed the strobes to keep flashing...it's a tad difficult to sleep with a strobe light flashing in your room all night. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk staff, they generally could care less. They just smiled and said they knew about the problem.
Just for reference the fire code states that when an alarm system is impaired, a fire watch is to he established and the fire department notified. Neither was done by the staff. No contact with Corpus Christi Fore was made, nor did the fire department show up - which means the hotel staff canceled emergency services prior to their arrival.
Also, the "fencing" on the southwest corner of the building is dilapidated and falling down. Overall, this facility is one of the worst IHG branded hotels I have ever stayed at. I would be embarrassed if I were management or the owner of this property.
