Great hotel with quiet rooms with easy access off of the interstate. The rooms felt new with the renovation they just completed, I would recommend for anyone looking for a stay in the Des Moines area to consider this hotel.
Whirlpool tub

Paid an up charge for a whirlpool tub and it didn’t even work. Very frustrating. I want a full refund!!!

Brought my family for a mini vacation, my child loved the room so much he asked if we could come back. Staff is friendly and very helpful!

The issue we had were with whoever remodeled the hotel, jetted tub didn't function, bae sink didn't work, tub overflow wasn't connected. Lobby bathroom faucet wasn't working correctly. The hotel is very nice and clean. Lobby area was great. Breakfast was ok. Staff very friendly.

THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT FOR WORK AND PLEASURER, EVERYTHING WAS ATLEAST 15-20 MINUTES AWAY AND PARKING WAS PLENTY AND THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND GOOD THERE WAS SOMETIMES THEY WERE SLOW TO FIX A PROBLE BUT IT DID GET FIX SLOWLY. BUT OVERALL, THEY WERE GOOD. I LOVED MY ROOM BUT ROOM SERVICE WAS GOOD AT CLEANING.

On our way to and from Arizona each winter/spring we stay at the Staybridge Suites in West Des Moines, Iowa. We have done this for the last 10 years. We have never been disappointed. They recently did renovations and the place looks new and fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great room after a long day on the road

Traveling from our son and family’s home in Colorado Springs to our home in central Wisconsin, and being IHG members, we sought a place to spend the night. Fortunately the Staybridge hotel was on our route. Very conveniently located just minutes from the highway, we were very pleased to find an extremely roomy suite with a very comfortable bed for the same number of IHG points as much smaller rooms in other IHG properties. We’ll be seeking out Staybridge Suites in the future!

As Dimond member was not Requenez'd with management so some of the service of housekeeping was excellent. the breakfast was great and sometimes the social happy hours was good but no complain. Front desk service was good. they were always alert of the diamond members specially Nate and jade at front desk. I have valued the hotel and recommend this hotel to others.
