Bad smell=bad experience

Really bad smell of old wet carpet, along with a room that wasn’t very clean and seems like it’s overdue for a refresh. They did give me a different room that didn’t smell. But the experience was a poor one.
Estadia decepcionante no Staybridge

Eu já tive muitas estadias em hotéis Staybridge, e por isso esperava muito mais deste. Infelizmente, minha experiência foi decepcionante em vários aspectos.
A equipe da recepção parecia desorganizada e não foi muito solícita quando solicitei ajuda. O gerente da Recepção EVEN inseriu o nome errado na minha conta e não conseguiu corrigir. Isso causou problemas desnecessários quando tive que explicar o erro para a empresa.
O café da manhã geralmente era servido tarde, com os hóspedes esperando no escuro por cerca de 10 minutos antes de começar. O horário social noturno (de segunda a quarta-feira) terminava sempre cerca de 30 minutos antes do programado.
A área da churrasqueira externa estava mal equipada, com falta de mesas e cadeiras. Todos os dias, precisávamos solicitar móveis da sala de conferências e nós mesmos devolvê-los mais tarde. A churrasqueira funcionava com tanques de propano e, em várias ocasiões, tivemos que comprar propano por conta própria.
Algumas portas externas não funcionavam corretamente com cartões-chave, e o quarto de lavanderia estava em más condições. Embora a lavanderia fosse gratuita, várias lavadoras e secadoras estavam com problemas ou não funcionavam corretamente.
Eu tive uma estadia neste hotel por quase dois meses, mas somente porque minha Empresa tinha uma tarifa especial. No geral, este Staybridge não atendeu os Standards usuais que espero da marca.

The staff at the Staybridge Suites Elkhart North are the most friendly and genuinely caring staff I have ever experienced at any hotel. I have stayed in many many hotels in the IHG, Marriot and Hilton brands (and military lodging) and I have never experienced the level of friendliness, warmth and enthusiasm as the folks at Staybridge Elkhart. I wish our stay was longer!

Robert makes the stay. He's SUPER COOL. The Breakfast is VERY GOOD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. WHEN IN ELKHART ONLY PLACE WE STAY!!!!!!

We were displaced due to a house fire and needed an extended stay hotel. The staff at Staybridge was great to work with and accommodated all of our needs including allowing our pets to stay with us. I would highly recommend Staybridge Elkhart North.

I was disappointed with the bathroom floor. There were a number of dead critters on the floor and other small debris
The mirror over the sink was not clean it was splattered with something
The ice bin was really dirty. When I took out the tray to fill my cooler in the morning the bottom of the ice bin was disgustingly dirty

Without repeating what I've previously mentioned , I also was extremely happy to see some healthy choices at breakfast and the fitness and laundry facilities are nice and clean.

Overall it was very well kept, but the Breakfast tables could have been kept cleaner but it was very busy and we went there after the breakfast rush. Breakfast was very tasty and well done. The pool area was very clean and the service personnel were very friendly and welcoming. We will be coming back.

We originally booked to stay somewhere else, closer to our destination, however the hotel was gross. I drove over to Staybridge and thankfully they had a suite available still. we have stayed here 4 times now and we love it every time.

We reserved a suite with two queen beds. As they didn't have such a suite available the girl at the reception gave us two rooms both with king beds.
