Nice place to stay, exceptional staff

I loved my stay here with family and friends. We had like three rooms, and a big family that stayed over at this hotel, and everyone checked-out with a smiling face.
Very nice and spacious room.
The best part about this hotel was their staff, it was outstanding. Very understanding, knowledgeable, helpful and caring for the most part.

The hotel is conveniently located off of Hwy 35. Trey greeted us the minute we walked in and was very welcoming and informative. Trey was very personable and able to answer any questions we had for places to eat near by. Our room was excellent, we did not expect such a big room. We were happily surprised on all of the options available for breakfast as we did not expect it. Check out was very smooth. When we go to Austin again, this will be our number one choice to stay from now on. The hotel is not far from many places to see in Austin. Thank you.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was mixed. The room itself was very comfortable — clean, quiet, and the bed was especially cozy, which made for a great night’s sleep.

However, the breakfast and evening social time were disappointing. Every morning the breakfast area had mostly empty serving trays with very limited options left, even well within the posted serving times. There were also times when there were no clean plates or utensils available, which made it difficult to enjoy what little food was left.

The staff seemed friendly, but it felt like the breakfast and social hour were not well managed or restocked in a timely manner. With a bit more attention to the dining experience, this hotel could be much more enjoyable overall.

The Alarm Clock

The alarm clock had a faulty power cord that arc'd a pretty good size flash when my son moved it. The flame caused a minor scorch to his finger. Needless to say the front desk replaced the clock and never said anything else after that.

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the included breakfast, the quiet rooms, and there were several restaurants and a theater within walking distance.
