Hotel is tired looking and needs a refresh. Staff were not engaged and just going through the motions.

My recent stay at Staybridge Suites Cedar Rapids was phenomenal from start to finish. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with all the comforts you could ask for, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was Kevin at the front desk.
From the moment I walked in, Kevin made me feel right at home. He greeted me with a big smile and genuine warmth that immediately set the tone for the entire visit. He checked me in quickly, answered all my questions about the area, and went above and beyond throughout my stay whether it was offering great restaurant recommendations, helping with directions, or just checking in to make sure everything was perfect.
Kevin’s level of professionalism and kindness is something you rarely see anymore. He doesn’t just do his job; he lives hospitality. It’s clear that he takes pride in making guests feel valued, and that made all the difference for me.
The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast hit the spot every morning. Between the beautiful property and Kevin’s outstanding service, Staybridge Cedar Rapids has earned every bit of this five-star rating. I’ll absolutely be back and I’ll be telling everyone I know to stay here, too!

I love ️ this Staybridge Hotel. It was perfect in every way! Good morning breakfast was great melon were sweet! Bacon and eggs were good. Love the room Suites were exceptional! I just fell in love with this Staybridge Hotel!

The size of the suite was larger than what I expected. We were able to bring our dog, which was a great plus for us. We know other animals were in the hotel, but didn't hear any animals, so noise level was controlled.
The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, and utensils, which was nice. The beds were comfortable; there were plenty of charging ports; the TVs had plenty of channel options. Breakfast was offered and there was a nice variety of food to choose from. We decided to stay 2 nights in lieu of 1 and this was no problem. The location was great, with us not having to drive over a few miles for shopping and dining.

My stay was great, the room/bed was comfortable, the staff very helpful and willing to assist. It was easy to adjust the temperature of the thermostat. Breakfast had great choices. This location was great for visiting Cedar Rapids. The areas we were visiting were minutes away. It had a paved bike trail next to this hotel.

No maid service on the weekends, Friday to Monday. Just a basic suite and typical hotel breakfast for $250 a night. A/c was malfunctioning during 85 degree weather. Had to empty the dishwasher of the previous persons stay. Multi-select shower head didn't work. Grounds were unkempt. Swim area was extremely hot and stuffy. Was told by friendly staff to prop the doors open.

We proactively called ahead and they reassured us we would have adjoining rooms at the hotel. Showed up and found out we had been lied to....they said they don't even have adjoining rooms at all. Our rooms were on totally different floors. If it weren't so late with several young children we would have found another hotel.

It was very comfortable and was not bothered through my two-night stay. Any questions or help that I needed was answered immediately. I really appreciated all of the staff's helpfulness in making my stay great. The only minor concern I have is some of the rooms that have pass through doors between them. I didn't enjoy idea of the adjoining room possibly gaining access to my room.
