Awful. Will never stay again

It’s like they put zero dollars into this hotel in the last 30 years. I saw a bedbug and the carpet is so old and stretched out and ripples down the hallway. I can’t believe no one has fallen and sued them.

This hotel needs some major updating. No only did it smell like a mixture of cat pee and marijuana, the carpet is pulling up in places and I don't think it's ever been changed. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years since I have relatives in the area and I guess it changed owners and they don't maintain the property. Sad, it used to be so nice. Won't be back.

Nice solid middle of the road property. I was in/out for one night, so didn't use any amenities. The patio area looked quite nice from my window. Decent price. Wish they offered a beer in the pantry.

Property not well maintained, dirty sofa and bathroom, rude staff, good luck finding them at the front desk, if you do need them. Keys always get demagnetized. Choose other hotels if you can, I hope IHG pays attention to their franchise

Rude unprofessional front desk staff, suites have kitchen where dishwasher and sink are clogged and broken. Refrigerator broke 3 days in, and we had to throw food to garbage. Front desk staff Ali told me to use outlets for one object only because this hotel is not for businesspeople. Cleaning ladies are unhappy and rude: they make you feel guilty when you are asking for towels or toiletries - give you looks and start whispering some words on other language and give you dirty looks.
My child nearly died from DKA she went into after food poisoning. Food offered is garbage that my dog refused to eat.
When I told them she had food poisoning, I was told "then go buy better food."
No greetings. When I came, I was told I must be grateful that I get the last room, meanwhile IHG direct reservation had rooms available. I asked to extend reservation and was lied to stating "hotel is sold out" while its nearly half empty. I went online and booked what I need.
Room cards are not working and must be changed several times a day.
Pool is dirty and unsupervised!
No nice approach. Rude. Unhappy. Liars at front desk! Anger and hostility issues is above tolerable!

This hotel is very old and outdated. The rooms are old and worn out. Everything from the appliances, bed towels and etc are old and desperately need to be replaced.

We checked into this hotel at approximately 9:30 pm on 8/1/25 and had a 5 night reservation. The minute we got off the elevator on the 3rd floor the entire hallway smelled of cat urine. It was so disgustingly strong I asked to be moved to a different floor and was told there wasn’t anything available. We get into the room and discover how dirty and gross it was. I have stayed at Staybridge suites in other states, and this was most definitely not up to par with cleanliness expectations of any hotel. I went to a nearby CVS and bought cleaning supplies because I was already told there was no availability to move rooms. At this point, it was 11 PM while cleaning my daughter discovered two bugs on her bed. I went to the front desk and explain the situation and checked out. There was no way I could stay in this room. I was told I couldn’t get a refund for the remaining days but I had to pay for the first day, which is absolutely absurd at midnight I had to find another hotel with availability two children in the car and we just drove 14 hours to get there. I should not have been held accountable to pay anything considering the state the room was in. That’s ridiculous for them to do that to customers we had to drive 40 minutes away to a hotel that had availability. I was told a manager would reach out the next day. I didn’t hear anything so I called on 8/3/25 and was told again there’s no manager on duty because it’s the weekend and that they will look into it and have a manager call me. Just asked for my first name but not my phone number, then hung up. I feel like I’m getting the run around. I just want to be refunded for a night that I could not use due to the lack of cleanliness on the hotels part. If I could give zero stars I would. Such a nightmare and huge inconvenience having to deal with a situation like this on vacation, especially when traveling with children.
