Decent hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The desk staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. And to our surprise there was a social hour that offered dinner. We liked the fact that our room had a separate bedroom area, living room and kitchenette. The room had a strange smell to it, maybe from cooking in the room? The couch and the mattresses were not comfortable, could use some upgrades. The bathroom ceiling has some mold and there was also spots that looked like spit balls on the ceiling. The room itself was pretty clean. We would probably stay here again if we were in the area.

First time staying here and I will be using it again when I am in the area. I will be recommending it as well. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite for one night this weekend 9/13-9/14. Hotel was clean minus the water damage on the ceiling in room 164 in the king bedroom. But that's no biggie. Employees were all very nice and accommodating. One employee that stood out over the rest was Mary. Sweet older lady taking care of us during breakfast time. She went above and beyond. Made sure everyone was happy. Even gave us a hug. The world needs more Marys.

Way too much texting with little purpose. I asked twice for it to stop, one of the requests made to the GM, but it never did. I will stay somewhere else next time. Also poor quality food at dinners. Most other Staybridge hotels have much better quality food. I will note that the older lady taking care of breakfast was phenominal, extremely pleasant and goes out of her way to serve.

The room was clean & spacious. Staff was very friendly. I loved the great breakfast options. BEWARE: The breakfast starts at 7:30 on weekends, so if you need to get an early start, you'll miss out.

Excellent stay at Staybridge Suites Syracuse NY

Excellent hotelto stay at, free breakfast and drinks available , only drawback was the swimming pool. We had to stay one night at Randolph House next door for one night but Jennifer was very kind at front desk to have us shift for next 2 nights and made our stay seamless and very comfortable. Room was very comfy , with all amenities and full kitchen suite. TV is bit outdated as it has no way of playing via portable device like ipad/ iphone no airplay. That needs change asap. Overall excellent hotel to stay near to both freeways I81 and 690 close to the NYS state fair grounds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!! The room was spacious and comfortable! We will be staying at this hotel the next time we are in central NY! I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm pleasant stay in central NY.
