The rooms had a weird smell. The keys wouldn't work and i had to have them rekeyed. The toilet in one room rocked back and forth.

Dated and dirty, with bugs

Elevators and stairs are dirty and worn. Rooms are very dated controls are outdated, and cleanliness is questionable. Had a dead bug on my bedspread as well as staining. Reported to the front desk as I was going out and came back 4 1/2 later and it hadn’t been addressed. I would think that reporting bugs in a hotel would be a priority. Staff was more interested in socializing than helping guess. Corporate needs to come here and see it themselves. Definitely don’t recommend it.

Dirty

Rooms were dirty. Pool was warm but the area around it was nasty. Could see the hallway through the side of our door. Windows did not shut. Outside doors did not lock-did not feel very safe. Could not have breakfast due to items not refilled. The man that was supposed to be doing the food was outside on his phone. Horrible guest service. Would not recommend and definitely will not return to this location.

older hotel in need of maintenance and deep clean

The room was a neat of maintenance and deep cleaning. Shower curtains were moldy, door handle broken, and there were ants. The breakfast items were not being refilled, even though there was 45 minutes remaining of breakfast. This included items that did not require cooking or prepping. Things like cups, utensils, plates are also not being refilled. This was consistent during the whole duration of my stay.

IHG hotels have never disappointed me… this was our first day at this particular property, and we were especially impressed by the free breakfast… The young people who overall this area were excellent… The choices were more expansive than I’ve ever seen and they made rounds and made sure everybody was happy with what they had. The only detractor to our stay was that the sleeping area seem to be either too cold or too warm depending on what we set the thermostat on. no, in between and no way to close a vent or divert the cold air away from our sleeping area.

Needs cleaned and updated

I stay at a lot of IHG properties and prefer the Staybridge locations. The front desk and staff that assisted the social time and breakfast were very polite and attentive, top notch! But the overall condition was worn down and needs cleaned, refreshed and updated/fixed. The housekeeping missed so many things, didn’t appear to clean, or pay attention to the basic things. This is why the staff rating is lower. Upon entering the room, floor was dirty and found out quickly the drain in the kitchen leaked badly. This was fixed quickly while gone, but it was fairly evident it had done it for a while.
I don’t normally write reviews or complain, but this was one of the worse experiences I’ve had for a while at an IHG property. Will continue to use IHG, just not this location.

Horrible experience, the hide-a-bed in the sofa was 100% digusting and the front desk did nothing to help. I have a video and pics and would be happy to share

Waste of Money

My experience was not pleasant. Room was dirty, our bathroom door didn’t shut, broken TV, ants in the room, tape over smoke detectors, and so much more. Guests drunk and threatening behavior in the parking lot. Cut our trip short and did not feel as the staff took our complaints seriously when we checked out after one night. One positive thing was that our room was not near the elevators.

This place was in a great location. We stayed one night and had a few issues but those were addressed. Place appeared clean upon arriving.
