(1) Don't expect anything from the concierge at the door because he will ignore you like you don't exist.
(2) Don't expect any courtesy from the front desk staff if you pay your room with IHG reward points.
(3) Don't expect cleanliness at the room because you may check into a room that has not been thoroughly cleaned for a while.
(4) Don't expect expeditious service for your breakfast because there will be only one waiter for the whole dining room.

Staff could care less about guest concerns

During our stay to this hotel there was apparently a big party on the same night. When we checked in the hotel staff asked if we were with the party, and my wife and I indicated we were not. After being forced to sign additional papers promising not to host additional people in our room (related to this party) or furnish alcohol to those underage we were able to retire to the room for the night, or so we thought.

Shortly afterwards we were awoken by noise from outside the room, and upon calling the front desk they stated they would take care of it. Well at this time we decided to get a little snack before going back to bed.

On our way back to the room we witnessed a suspicious man walking up and down the halls attempting to listen through hotel room doors. When we asked his for identification he pointed to a PBA (Police Benevolent Association) shirt he was wearing and said "I'm security". Of course they was not any form of real identification so we persisted and before we knew he flashed a concealed firearm in his waistband.

We quickly returned and locked ourselves in the room and contacted to the front desk, who seemed to care less about the situation. After contacting the police and speaking with officers for over an hour we were able to identify the man as an off-duty police officer that the hotel had hired for security. This man had none nor did he offer any form of identification.

The hotel staff looked on never offering any assistance or seeking to clarify any confusion. By the time we got to bed it was almost time to check out.

We will NEVER stay in this hotel again if we can help it!

Fix the A/C!!! Need a better breakfast

The rooms and staff were nice enough but it was frustrating to find the air conditioner inoperative in my room. The staff was kind enough to give me another room, but the A/C in that room was blowing out hot air as well, so we had to move to a third room. We were there to photograph a wedding and the A/C was not working in the bride's room or the groom's. Hotel rooms are extremely stuffy. It is vitally important to have working, reliable ventilation, especially as the weather heats up.

I also have to say the breakfast was one of the worst I've had. The first morning, I thought couldn't eat because I had nerves about shooting the wedding, but the second morning confirmed that the food was just not that appetizing. The breakfast buffet consists of potatoes, eggs, rubbery waffles or pancakes, bacon and sausage, the saddest fruit bowl you've ever seen, orange juice, and a very limited supply of coffee. Of everything they had, the only food I could stomach swallowing was the bacon, sausage, OJ and coffee. Couldn't believe I paid $13.75 plus tip for that. An omelette station would be awesome, at the very least, some hotter, better tasting eggs.

Security--OR Lack of Security!

Went to my room, sat down for 30 minutes. As a habit, I always put the chain on the door after entering. While sitting there, someone came to the door, and OPENED it. It hit the chain and stopped.

I went to the door immediately, but whoever it was had ran down the stairs.

The hotel apologized, moved me to another room, (said they needed 15 minutes, but I waited an 90 min before they came, AFTER I called the front desk again), then promised me points to my account to make up for the crisis.

And of course, no points were ever given.

So for customer care? Zero rating. And that doesn't even go into what must have been a large party organized in the room right above me until the wee hours of morning.
