Great location, food, staff. Not so great parking

The hotel is situated in a great location, whether it's business or pleasure. The rooms are finished to a high standard, with all the amenities you would expect in a crowne plaza, including the members lounge, where we had access to a range of drinks and nibbles.

The food served in the restaurant was of a high standard and the staff were extremely helpful, so on the whole it's a very nice hotel.

However.... I parked in the underground car park, which cost me 60 euros for 1 day. On check out, when I questioned this I was told "it's not our car park so we have no control over the price".

Whilst there is a small sign in the lift, which is easily missed, there was no warning of this at check-in. I'm just glad I didn't stay for longer than one day! To make matters worse the staff told me (retrospectively of course), that I could have parked in the street at the weekend for nothing.

So, Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South, please let your patrons know when they check-in what the tariff is as it has the potential to ruin what is otherwise an excellent customer experience.

Professional and friendly staff

I had a great stay with my family in this hotel. It's all clean and brand new and the Junior Suite was very comfortable.
The location is quiet and in walking distance of public transport.
We didn't use the breakfast buffet, because I think that's a bit overprized, but for the rest only positive about this hotel. The staff is very service minded and friendly!

Extreme friendly team at check in / out; during breakfast or just passing the lobby.
Brand new hotel. Nice rooms; very comfortable.
Great breakfast and plenty of helpful staff at breakfast.
Great food choices; far better then many 5 star hotels.

Neues, modernes Hotel

Großes und modernes Hotel am Rande der Amsterdam Ring-Autobahn.
Moderne Zimmer. Ordentliches, gutes aber sicherlich kein überragendes Frühstück.
Wenige Parkplätze auf der Strasse (kostenlos über Nacht) oder im Parkhaus.
Leider kein Zimmerupgrade für Platin Kunden.
