Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Disappointing this year.. We have stayed at this property several times in the past, and have had terrific results. This year, not so much. It was not any one's fault, it just seemed that there wer a number of strange occurances. We were greeted warmly and professionally when we checked in on Tuesday evening. As some of our nights were on IHG points, and some were paid for, we ended up with 4 separate reservations, I think.. The great lady on the desk offered to set up our keys straight through the end of our stay, checking out on the following Monday.(6 nights). SHe readily acknowledged our Platinum status and provided 500 bonus points and upgraded us to room 1020. We went up, and ironically this was the same room we stayed at on our previous visit. When we got to the room, the bedding had been stripped and lay dissheveled on the floor at the foot of the bed. Sheets and towels were missing. Back to the desk. Moved to room 1110. Great room.. Offered additional points, did not see them. ALl went well for a couple of days, until our room keys would not work one morning. Down to the desk, new keys, still did not work. back to desk, returned to room with maintenance fellow. OPened room and explained the door lock was not working properly, gave us 1 key that worked, and set out to repair while we were out. On our return, we had 2 new keys in the room as well as two chocolates. However the bed was unmade, and the bathroom not cleaned, no towels.. Down to desk, got towels, offered more points or something.. No points received. Back to room, made bed ourselves. Rest of stay uneventful. When I checked out, I was told the whole stay was on points... Hurrah!, No receipt could be provided. However, MasterCard charged nearly $500. for the stay.. Have no receipt, so cannot tell what was what.. COnfused and disappointed in this stay for obvious reasons.. May go back, not sure.Very obliging and friendly staff, but many many errors and defencies. 15. Dezember 2014
Rated 1,0 out of 5,0 by Not what I expected We had planned to stay 2 nights but, 1 was enough. There were 2 busses of a dance group when we checked in. I Asked the desk clerk if there was a quiet curfew and her answer was "there are chaperones". The rooms face the front room door, NOT the beach, which face the hall and the elevators which had teens knocking on doors and using elevators and screaming in the hallway until 1 am . We canceled our 2nd night and stayed in a clean, quiet and lovely hotel down the beach for 1/2 the price. NEVER AGAIN. 12. Dezember 2014

Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Thanksgiving Weekend Stay at HI Express We were repeat customers, the grounds and building are well maintained, the people at the front desk were very pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was good, with plenty of room to move around and places to sit. This Inn offers more than the older downtown Daytona hotels, it's much more quieter with less traffic. 5. Dezember 2014
