Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Airport Hotel I stay at this hotel for a business meeting in the area. The hotel is a not walking distance from the airport, but it is nearby and accessible by a free shuttle service. The lobby area is quite small but the check in staff moved quite swiftly for the check in process. The room itself was clean and spacious to standard, with the standard amenities. One plus was the airport channel. The bathroom was stocked with fresh linen. With respect to food- breakfast was basic continental that will suit business travelers needs and there were local newspapers about the room, and the television was on the news channel to keep me up to date while I had my breakfast. Generally, one of the best hotel in the Trinidad, that is most suited for business travelers June 25, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TrinCity HI Express The hotel rooms are nice but there are no amenities on site. the view from the highway looks impressive but it really is out in the middle of nowhere and if you don't have a car you'll need to use the shuttle service just to go out to eat - and it's not like Uber and you can just open the app.... It is affordable, clean and quiet and very close to the airport. Staff is friendly also. I have been using this hotel for the past 8 years for all my flights out of Trinidad. May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Initial charge to reserve room I guess the one thing that I was unaware of was that I was charged twice on my credit card for my stay and I had to call to find out what this was about. The staff indicated that they took the estimated charge for the 2 nights amenities from the card on my arrival. Then they charged me again for the actual amount of the room on departure. They said the first charge would reverse within 7 days. I had no idea they actually took the money the first night. I am still waiting for the refund. They said this double charge could have been avoided if I had paid up front in full on arrival. But I was not told that. I do not agree with this double charge policy, unless the customer (that's me - believe it or not) is advised first. I have never had this happen at ANY hotel before this. Apart from this bizarre charging incident, it is pretty much the best hotel to stay at near the airport. May 30, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beds OK but issues with maintenance The hotel seemed like the usual Holiday Inn Express on the exterior. However, my room was sub-standard. The air conditioner leaked, the carpet was damp near it. The fridge was also leaking. There was very little water pressure in the washroom sink. The breakfast meat consisted of sliced wieners, not the usual sausage or bacon. There was a photograph of cinnamon rolls, but none were available at breakfast.
