The Rocky Mount Sports Complex, was completed in the fall of 2006, includes six youth baseball fields, four interchangeable baseball/softball fields, one championship baseball field, four soccer/football fields, a professional disc golf course, two outdoor basketball courts, outdoor volleyball courts, picnic shelters and a walking trail. The complex hosts local Parks and Recreation leagues, as well as, a full slate of regional, state and national sporting events.

The facility includes the 1,200 seat Minges Auditorium, the intimate Powers Recital Hall, and several galleries including the Mims Gallery. the Dunn Center features a variety of campus and community events, including Campus Activity Board concerts, Wesleyan Theatre department productions, and concerts of the Tar River Orchestra and Chorus.
