Although this hotel is a little outdated, the rooms are clean and comfortable!

Great down town Albuquerque hotel

It's a nice hotel with outdoor swimming pools and walk ways for both 2 legs and 4 legs living things. And the only one so far I see with NO CANNABIS posting!!! Which is REALLY rare in the state of New Mexico. Keep that air fresh and breathable from cannabis POLLUTION! Kids had high school prompts when I stayed.
My only complaints are the room coffee maker did not work and there was no room microwave. No big deal since the lobby had them.
Comfortable,quiet, and easy access.

We stayed here for my procedures at the Albuquerque VA hospital. During time between my procedures we did a lot of shopping. The hotel had easy access and was near the shopping districts and restaurants that we chose to visit.

We were greeted at check-in and quickly completed the process. We used our reward points and were pleasantly surprised that the Crown Royal was the lowest among the International Hotel Group properties in Albuquerque.

The furniture was really dented and anything in the hotel with wood. Elevator had a broken button and all the wood in that was dented. Need some updates. Needs TLC with the furniture or a update.

This Crowne Plaza needs updating, from the rooms to the hallway carpets to the beds.
There is no anti-slip coating on the bathtubs and so, if you're older and concerned about falling in the shower, you will have to ask for a bath mat, which they will provide.
Our sliding door to the small balcony did not fit well and the wind would shake it and howl through the night.
The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Because this is a Crowne Plaza, I was expecting a bit higher quality than what I found. Next time I'm in Albuquerque, I will stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

Atmosphere was excellent. Beautiful property. Updated, modern yet had a nostalgia feel to it. Very pleasant

The outdoor pool wasn't open, so there is really no reason to stay at this hotel when you can get a nicer one at the same rate. The amenities were dirty, the rooms are outdated, and the outdoor area wasn't clean. The Cantina and Restaraunt were great and their staff was great. In a sad looking part of town too.

I can tell you that if the Crown Plazas are dropping to this low standard then we might have to consider another brand of hotel chain.
This was a nasty run down hotel that is in desperate need of help!!!
