The hotel is located in a very convenient location, literally the exact city center. There are three subway stations nearby five minutes walk to the vibrant area of the city everyone is visiting. Although a little bit old (open 1989), the facility is a bit old, but the service is really good

酒店有点老了，包括机器人等设备都没有，在办理入住时前台员工有点不耐烦，这点需要改进，特别表扬礼宾部在我离开时帮我搬运行李和开车门，在我填写维修单不到5小时酒店就解决了客房插座无法连接电源的问题，包括清洁部还很细心帮助我每日清洁房间，我非常推荐这家坐落于春熙路的老牌五星级酒店!

The hotel is 30 years old. Long over due for a refurbishment. The owner is obviously not interested in investing in the hote anymore.
There is even not enough service staff at the restaurant during breakfast. The one or two staff working very hard to clear tables
There is no reason one cannot find service staff in China. Only if you don't want to hire any.
The only saving grace is its location. ChunXi Lu is walking distance about three to four hundreds meters away.
Subway stations, ChunXi Lu station or Tian Fu station is about 800 to 900 meters away.

The hotel located in central Chengdu, while we understand it is quite old.
But old hotels should not have bed bugs!
We have booked two beds due to we have a family with two small children. The person got bitten sleeps on two separate beds
Me and my family all got bitten, my small children got on their arms and legs.
I got on arms, chest. With photos as prove.
Even though this is award night, so not worth it!
酒店地理位置在成都市中心，预定的时候用的是奖励住宿，也清楚酒店比较旧。
但是设施旧的酒店也不应该有床虱！！！
我和女儿们分别睡在两张床上。
我们都又被叮咬，在手臂，腿部，颈部。
极其糟糕的一次入住！

I had stayed in Crowne Plaza at multiple locations and this is the first time that I stayed in IHG group with unsatisfied. Overall facility is not meeting expectation and this is the first time that I stayed in IHG group hotel without breakfast provided until the next morning only being notified that my stay with point exchange doesn't cover breakfast but during the system booking and even during check in was not being notify about this uncover breakfast term and condition. That is the reason I cancel my next day booked stay in Crowne Plaza Chengdu City and change to another hotel immediately.

I normally stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chengdu, which is amazing! However, that was unavailable, so I chose this one as it seemed centrally located.
When I arrived, they had some special event going on, so that lobby was incredibly crowded with stalls and people. Very noisy and chaotic.
The staff checking me in were okay, but about 15 minutes after getting to my room, someone showed up at my door demanding that I pay for the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel! I told them my colleague ordered a DiDi for me, so I did not take the hotel shuttle. They refused to leave until I paid (CNY750!). I called my colleague, who then talked to the hotel staff. After about 15 minutes of arguing, they finally left to check. What happened? They got the wrong room number! Did they ever apologize to me? No. I even saw the guy in the lift that evening, and he avoided even looking at me. I was shocked.
I then went to the club lounge for dinner and drinks. I prefer whisky, and they had a nice selection on their menu. But they were out of EVERY ONE! They did have Jack Daniels, but they said I have to pay for that one. Sigh. So, I just have beer. The food options were not good, so I ate dinner outside instead.
The room was old and cramped. The bathroom was also not well-maintained. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The only saving grace for this hotel is that it is within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping malls.
I will never stay at this hotel again.

I usually stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chengdu, which is one of my favorite hotels. Unfortunately, there were no rooms, so I chose this hotel instead.
This was a very old hotel. The staff were okay, but I was accused of using the airport service where they wanted to charge me CNY720. I had my colleague talk to them as they did not speak English, and after about 15 minutes, they realized they had the wrong room! They never apologised to my colleague or me for this. Shocked.
They 'upgraded' me to a lounge-access room...but as I already have lounge access membership for 2025, this was unnecessary. I would have preferred to be upgraded to a larger room. Why? The room was very small. The bed was old and not comfortable. And the bathroom was very outdated.
The gym was small, but usable.
The lounge lacked most of the spirits on the menu, and they said they would not replace them for 2-3 weeks! Crazy...
The only redeaming quality of this hotel was a staff member named Naomi who worked in the lounge. She was very kind, warm, and considerate.
The hotel is also very centrally located, so close to many restaurants and stores.

飯店真的太老了...再加上剛好遇到糖酒會, 整個大廳非常雜亂外, 打車也很不方便, 但是前台Zoe & Hunter的熱情與專業讓我們非常滿意, 希望能好好整修後再次入住

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Loved it! Diamond status and lounge pass proactively recognised, staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, lounge staff were exceptionally welcoming.
Visiting Chengdu, this hotel's location is superb. Walkable to 春熙路 and with many great dining options nearby. Driving was convenient too, although there's some traffic jam which is to be expected when you're this central in Chengdu.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Chengdu. The location of the hotel is very good, only 5-7 mins walk to the popular Chunxi Road.
Both Tina and Zoe at the front desk were very helpful and upgraded my room to suite.
Karen at the club lounge, Mark at the concierge were also very helpful and offered great service
